There are RUclips videos going back 10 years showing that UNWRA was teaching hatred to kids in UN schools in Gaza. If they refuse to understand that teaching hatred and the desire to kill Jews as being the highest thing to aspire to, then they refuse to see how their hatred and actions are actually a cause for them to meet with violence and they will suffer for a very long time. Hatred begets hatred and never solves anything.

UNRWA, on the other hand, employs 30,000 people, in Gaza to service a claimed figure of 5.9 million refugees.

When everything you said was based on facts. It is very sad that the members of the panel came relying on resentment and not on the empirical facts. They didn't do their homework before the debate, and literally lowered the level of the debate down the drain

I agree about Hillel, but it seems that one of them politicians really listened, I hope he has the strength to think different than the rest. And the questions are good because in real life I get such questions also and I am glad with the answers and information I can pass on!

I am ashamed of those MPs. They don’t represent the majority of the Dutch people. These are MPs from the old government, it has been replaced last week by a new one, which is more open to the Israeli side of the story. Many of the Dutch people stand with Israel.

There are not many people in the Netherlands who support Israel. Israel must withdraw from the Palestinian territories, that is a ruling by the international court.
It wasn’t hushed up or ignored. it was broadcast live and I saw an article in a nation wide paper about it (can’t say if other papers reported on it as well). And I agree about the parties present there. I wasn’t expecting much understanding from them.
As with anything in live people make up their mind and don’t change their opinion easily.

The committee for foreign trade and development aid has done well to hold this online hearing. Nevertheless, I am struck by the number of empty seats at this meeting and the fact that Hillel sits alone with nobody sitting next to him! This, in my opinion, speaks volumes about the UN ‘s ‘impartiality’ and their hostility towards Israel. As a non Jew from New Zealand I perceive this behaviour as anti-semitism and it disgusts me.
