I just want to say THANKS doing that road-trip and putting together the videos you did I always looked forward to the next ballpark and watching the stupid twitter jerk every episode and the other characters. Hopefully the Houston guy doesn’t go to New York anytime soon 😂😂😂😂. The bottom line is thanks for doing this as a die hard baseball fan myself and is currently trying to do all 30 myself. Thanks for everything. I can’t wait to see your next series.
@@realdominochris anytime it was just fun to watch because there are still some I need to hit and you showed me some stuff to do at the ballparks I have left and the ones I’ve already hit.
this was a fantastic series. I have been fascinated by this exact trip concept for a long time now. never seen anyone pull it off solo ... insane. I know you showed the spreadsheet briefly at the start, but I'd love to hear more about how you arrived at that itinerary. Just trial and error? I tried doing it by hand a few times myself over the years and it was just too complex -- I went so far as to write a computer program to help crunch the numbers.
Thanks for the kind words, pal. And glad you enjoyed! Don't be afraid to tag MLB on other socials as they have yet to respond 🤣kidding (but seriously, come on, MLB) It really was trial and error and to be fair, probably a bit lucky that I solved the puzzle so quickly. It still wasn't perfect, as I still had to backtrack a bit at times. And for the first couple days of trying to work it out, I was desperately trying to have Day 1 be in either Seattle or Denver, as those two are by far the most remote locations. Once I realized I couldn't start it there, I very much wanted to have those two be in the first week, because I felt my adrenaline would be higher and I'd have more energy to make the all-night drives, which proved to be true. I was a borderline zombie for the last week, but luckily the drives were shorter. But I would say the most difficult part of it was the "West Coast Gauntlet" as I call it. Everything has to fall into place on that side because there is no room for rescheduling if a game gets called off.
Looking forward to rating video.
