The 7-Segment Display - An Experimental Approach

There are many videos on 7-segment displays on the internet. As technology is advances rapidly, these displays are not being used commonly anymore and are being replaced by LCD and OLED screens. However, it is critical for us to learn how 7-segment displays work so we understand the basics of current driven circuits and how microcontrollers switch between each segment in digital systems.
This video provides some basic information for someone to start doing some circuit design and also have fun while doing it.
Note: The resistors used in this experiment were sized for approximately 15 mA of current for each segment.
