Magnesium for the cramps. You're mineral deficient. It stopped my cramps on carnivore.
your hair looks great these days - hard to believe it used to be thin.
It always thins out when he is vegan and regrows when he goes animal based.
Kasey’s most wise words of wisdom… “ eat as little as possible..” I think that’s the key.
I always give you a thumbs up on your videos, even if don't agree with them because it's the right thing to do. 🙂
I do it so I know if I've watched it.. I used to binge on all his old videos so it became a habit lol

Joking aside, your years of experience are showing. Your detailed explanations are good
It’s crazy watching all these people on RUclips dealing with the side effects of eating poisonous foods.
exactly
What foods are poisonous?
@@tezzanewton what foods aren't poisonous!
@@davidwayne68 oh ok, thanks mate.
eating once at 2-3pm is the BEST! I am too lazy to eat more than that many times. I haven't incorporated the fast yet... but I am contemplating... I love going to sleep without a lot going on in gut .... sleep much better
Love the hair it’s amazballs
Love watching your commentary... you take the serious out of the carnivore space
We have an insulin response simply from looking at food so yeah zero calorie sweet foods definitely do it
If that was really true, we’d all have hypoglycaemia
Not necessarily, a properly functioning body would simply make more sugar if levels dropped too low.
Potassium Citrate and Magnesium Glycinate are the ones you wanna use for the electrolytes.
I just got back from a week in the Shouldice hospital. 2 hernia surgeries. The food was about 80% fruits and vegetables. I didn't eat much while I was there. Nice hospital though.
Haircut is awesome I love it Kasey looks so good on you❤ your videos make my day better….
I eat twice a day, morning and evening, this ensure good glycogen stores for the day and excelent sleep at night.
I eat starch and meat.
Similar to you. My stomach tells me in the morning when to eat, then again at about 5. I don't like to stress my body by not giving it what it's asking for. I'm easy on the starch. Works for me.
This guy is hilarious, love his dark humor.
love your haircut!
I love how insulin thinks it has something to do then finds out it really doesn’t and “goes home” 😂
more of *us* should be the same lol
😆
Like your videos MohawkMan!
I feel the same about stevia. It's like some ppl want to suck every last bit of happiness out of your life.
I used to get leg cramps. Magnesium chloride took them away quickly. If I drink too much coffee I will also leg cramps. Coffee depletes magnesium. Good job experimenting with the electrolytes.
Leg cramp’s aren’t necessarily 100% lack of magnesium. In some parts of the world it could be a lack of boron due to soil depletion, especially Australia
For me, my cramps were always lack of salt. When vegetarian, WFPB, low carb, then mostly carnivore, my cramps persisted. Tried lots of other things, but extra salt is the only thing that fixed it. I'm in NZ and I do supplement a bit of boron.
Have you tried Boudreaux"s Butt paste sold in Louisiana for your face? Miracle cream for diaper rash! I just helped one person in Canada
I would ask the cramper what form of magnesium are you consuming? Magnesium oxide, whilst cheap, is next to useless. Magnesium glycinate is my preferred form for eliminating leg cramps.
Very helpful😊
Do you take activated charcoal after dry fasting?
Wow that is one of the haircuts of all time!
Take magnesium for the cramps.
Looking good
Awesome mohawk!
Only swallowing 1 to 2 table spoons of magnesium sulfate in the middle of the night makes me release gallstones. I did 18 times the Andreas Moritz liver flush in total. The gallbladder knows ^^'
That laugh was iconic 😂
Perfect
Thanks for the electrolyte list 😉

Interesting.
just use glycine instead of stevia-cheaper and very good health supplement
How much can you take daily?
I honestly think the one meal a day is what’s going to keep the weight off for me. Struggled my entire life. Calorie counting and crazy amount of exercise doesn’t work long term
It happens automatically by eating only meat, without struggle. After a while be it weeks, months or years it just happens on its own that you get down to OMAD. Maybe not for everyone, but for me anyways. If its not enough I have some yogurt in the evening.
@@oscarl.3563 I’ve been mostly doing it for 4 months. I just didn’t know until now I’d have energy to work through the day without food. I have a physical job.
Carnivore diet no calorie counting just enjoy your food lol weight just falls off lol❤works for me…
You live in Canada. Collect sap in the winter and make pitch. Also, magnesium is calciums antagonist regarding muscle contraction. If magnesium doesn’t help cramps then up calcium.
I am glad you share you trip with us man, good times.
Nice hawk dude. Would add that I dry fast 10-12 hours nightly, even though I sleep for only half that. Been this way for half a year, and feel much better when I start my day. Even then, I don't get waterlogged. Keep in mind college chemistry, where it is learnt that water is a solvent. Nasty stuff, H20, so go easy on it. Plenty of it in fresh beef, as you say.
Daily requirements magnesium: 350-400mg
potassium: 1000-4000mg
Careful with overdosing
Keto rash is most often oxalate dumping...
Yes, especially coming off ‘healthy’ gluten free, superfoods 😂. I am adding a couple of squares of dark chocolate to slowly wean myself off them after listening to Sally K Norton. Seems counter intuitive, but seems to be working, rash fading. 😊
Magnesium spray oil works very good and fast for leg cramps. On Amazon
I definitely need advice on how to give myself a mohawk.
Its a mullet joe dirt
Kasey back
Yep!! I agree with you! My multi didn’t even have Magnesium or Calcium!! I think it’s Magnesium
Comment on Monk Fruit sweetener. Sweet Monk makes a pure one in liquid drop form.
Maybe check out having Histomine problems and Oxolates problems.
Doing your monkey strength and having some sciatic pain in my hips during leg movements and walking. Any advice for dealing with that? Yoga maybe? Any diet-related stuff that might help?
Look up piriformis stretches. Physical therapy.
It's got electrolytes!
Pvt. Joe Bowers: What *are* these electrolytes? Do you even know?
Secretary of State: They're... what they use to make Brawndo!
(😂)
Boron might be the answer if you're still getting cramps with magnesium. It helps absorption.
I know you probably won’t read this but I wanted to know what shampoo you use or whatever you do for your hair. It is so nice now, mine sure could use your help. I do the OMAD eating and I lose weight and hair, it’s bad. Trying everything I can think of to get my hair back.
Kasey, have you dug into the "Bioenergetic" stuff from Ray Peat, Jay Feldman, Mike Fave, Danny Roddy, etc? I'm thinking about the kind of content you find on "The Energy Balance Podcast" or the "Generative Energy Podcast." Essentially maximizing cellular energy, generally through higher carb intake and avoiding PUFAs. There's a lot more to it than that, but curious if you are familiar or have any thoughts on that approach?
Seven dollars? That's just the tip for a haircut..
Small towns in America usually do means cuts for 5-10 dollars.
Xylitol helps my tooth soreness, but I am allergic to it.
What do you think of Dr. Sean O’Mara? He recommends carnivore with ferments every time you eat meat. He focuses on getting rid of visceral fat.
I need between 1500-2000 calories a day........I would do fairly poorly if I tried to
eat all those calories doing OMAD. A Large meal, above say 800-calories, seems to really whack my mood and energy-levels. I do 20-4, eating 3 small meals in a 4-hour window, it seems to work quite well.
Which electrolytes do you use, the coconut you mentioned?
The title sounds like you need fruit and fitness, elite level cardio + high carb is the healthiest lifestyle, Carbs FTW!! 💪💪💪
I wish I could do a mohawk, I'm bald.
I don't think insulin is triggered by taste because lean meat has a pretty high glycemic index. I could be wrong, 🤷🏻♂️ i guess the best thing would be check the blood sugar after having some stevia or monk fruit.
I cycle thousands of miles a year. I've never really had to worry too much about gaining weight and this led me to eat too much salt, and high salt intake leads to persistent leg cramps if you're a very active person, (I'm pretty sure this is scientifically proven and a well accepted fact) and so roughly five years ago I drastically reduced my salt intake and literally haven't had a leg cramp in five years and I'm now 47 years old.
I can confidently say for a fact that many people that often do intense cardio will certainly experience problems if your salt intake is too high. Low salt is literally life changing if you're one of the unfortunate people that experience random leg cramps after intense cardio.
As you get older watch out for the long cardio, look up Zwift wheels founder has cardio issues due to too many 100 mile rides. Getting old ain’t fair.
I cut salt right down and stopped all my cramping
Crazy, salt got rid of my cramps.
And me, if done loads of exercise taking in salt has stopped cramps, partly due to sweating so much salt out.
The only thing that stopped my cramping was taking magnesium
A fisherman friend of mine told me to drink a shot of apple cider vinegar to relieve cramps. He was right. A shot of vinegar makes cramps disappear in something like 30 seconds. I have no idea why, but it works like magic.
I think it dilutes blood.
@@jeanettenejadi1777 Egad! In thirty seconds? That is hard for me to imagine.
A lot of cramps are less than 30 seconds anyways 😆
Fortunately, I don't like the taste of sugar or of any sweeteners. The key is to lay off sweetened foods for long enough that you lose the taste for them. If you stay off sugar and sweeteners for say a month, chances are it will taste sickly and horrible when you try it again.
Consider trying magnesium lotion
Do you ever take Epsom Salt Baths? Wouldn't that way your body would take in only as much magnesium as it needed?

you should check out Lillie Kane video on why she quit carnivore, about the carnivore community and how influencers are hiding stuff, also how she had too much iron like many others on the carnivore diet. This might not be the path long term
Her video was just clickbait, she tried to quit didn’t experience any benefits and went back to the way she was eating before.
@@leemanwrong the point is that she has been on it for years and still her scalp rash didnt heal and when she introduced more carbs she got acne. Wich tells us that the carnivore diet isnt healing and is just symptom managment.
Could you give me an idea for a meal plan to gain weight? I try to eat clean so it's extremely difficult to get enough calories, I end up eating a lot of butter and extra virgin olive oil, but still never reach my calorie goals (2k+)
If you can drink milk, you could drink alot of it to gain weight.
Raw milk, cream and cheese. More fat. Raw animal fat.
When I was eating a lot of fruit and carrot juice my calves would lock up at night and hands and feet turned cold and purple. It was to much sugar switched to green juice and low fruit it stopped in three days. Diabetes.
I have been fruitarian for years and never had this issue. As have many others. It sounds like your body may be naturally frail.

yes scientists have tested this
its a 3 hour delayed insulin spike (which is irrelevant mostly, tho its bad if u do it before sleeping, will make u be all hyper and unable to fall asleep)
I can't eat enough in one meal to do omad. I eat a 5 bites of food and Im already getting full. So I was only getting 500 calories in on omad. So I do 2 small meals still only get 1200 calories a day. I know I need more just not hungry enough.
No salt is pure potassium chloride, i take a pinch of potassium and sodium in my coffee every morning and magnesium in my evening meal. No cramps and perfect blood pressure.
Still doing urine therapy?

Please, bring back Kent. At least once a month. Btw, he was right

Do they not have the scientific method in Canada
Scientific method is religious fervor. Karl Popper invented the proper science and it's called falsification
Do you use a fasting tracker app?
I use almost no apps for anything.
Why would you need a fasting tracker app? You’re not eating anything so what’s to track. If you want to track your time just start your stopwatch.
@@leemanwrong Sometimes fasting apps help people who are struggling with keeping the fast. Looking at the stats encourages and motivates them.
nice do.... do you clean up the hair after shaving your head? hopefully yes...
I'm curious how much you eat for your one meal. Do you care about pounds of meat or just eat until satisfied.
Yeah brother that was part of your death wish paradigm ( the turpentine overdose ) … blessings brother..
Did you go see a dermatologist to see about the rashes?
Why would I see a doctor who specialized in chemicals for the skin when it's an internal problem?
I took potassium nitrate with a cup of noodles everyday, it was really healthy. You can take the 15 million bottle of red wine protein. You become Flo from the Brady Bunch, "Greg, clearly I was masterbating to cleaning." I only took one bottle, its like taking too much Splenda, you feel the little dirt cubes in your hair. But when you sort of cut Splenda in your gums, it starts to taste like sand on the beach. It's similar to a bullet wound, imagine your a truck driver, the box is 45 feet plus the 15 foot cab. So any wound bigger than a dime is cancer. One time I dropped DNA in biology on a slide, you could see a spiral galaxy the size of a dime.
Wtf are you on? Can I have some?
