They really are great. I found them 3 and a bit years ago and instantly fell in love with their channel. I watched all their back catalogue in just a few weeks. No matter what genre, budget or sometimes country, they always give it their all. Great observations but always so cost to watch. more like talking to friends than listening to a lecture.
I said for your last video for Re-Animator that it was one of bunch of horror movies I watched over a weekend while trying to get more into horror. This was actually another one of the 7 movies I got through. The characters are key to this movie's greatness, as you said the pacing is brilliant. I really enjoyed watching this, it such a refreshing aspect of storytelling to know that the Alligator was Robin Riker's character's without her knowing. A modern movie would need her to know this and she would hammer it home for the audience. There was creativity and charm in the special effects but its intent was always storytelling. My older brother recorded used to record movies off TV and it gave me access to a lot of great movies. I remember this being on the same VHS cassette as Q: The Winged Serpent. Neither movie were ones that I returned to at the time but came to appreciate later. It was thanks to my brother that I got access to movies like Aliens, Dune, Jaws, Escape from New York, Psycho and many more. Thanks guys.
One of the most memorable evil animal movies from back in the day, it has a cool production and they managed to make it work, cinema is now very diferent and movies like this are not made anymore
I don't think I've seen this movie since the 80s, but I distinctly remember the alligator farm and flushing scenes and the car being parked over the manhole.
I first saw this back in the 80's on VHS. Having partaken of some Mary Jane beforehand (I lived a different life back then!), I laughed so much that I almost had a heart attack. In memory of Robert Forster I rewatched it recently for the first time in decades, and this movie holds up. It's still a great horror/comedy. R.I.P. Robert; you are sadly missed.
I love this film! Absolutely love it 😅 watched it when I was about 10. Jaws was the first film to give me the creature feature buzz but this and piranha added to it. I think my last rewatch was early last year 🙂
The crazy thing is there are Nile Crocs that have been in captivity up to 20 feet long. No doubt there will be larger ones in the wild, so this movie is not totally ridiculous like most monster movies.
It's ridiculous because American alligators in the wild reach lengths of 15-18 feet. One that managed to survive a sewer would be much smaller. This thing is nearly twice as long as a crocodile at 36 Feet
Bro hugs and fist bumps from Weevil and myself, excellent review of a neat litlle film thankyou both 👊. Oh, and those folks going flying through the air got me aswell 😂🤣.
Big fan of your channel guys, love this movie, so bloody nostalgic, how underrated was Robert Forster?! Completely baffles me as to why he wasn't in more prominent films throughout the 80,'s , such a natural, human presence
I love Sydney Lassick! A very unique character actor. The first film I ever saw him in was 1992's Deep Cover as 'Gopher', a character not a million miles away from his Alligator character. Or his Cuckoo's Nest one come to think of it lol.
At some point you have to review the ultimate jaws ripoff. The legend of dinosaurs and monster birds. One of japans most expensive movies ever made. Also who doesn’t love disco and dinosaurs? Long time fan and appreciate everything you guys do!
Well, Resident Evil 2 Remake does happen to be my favorite RE game! And I did enjoy blowing up that alligator a million times lol with that being said, I'll check this one out! Great review guys!
Alligator 2 the mutation should definitely be flushed down the crapper and what mutation there is no mutant alligator that was a complete lie of the subtitle. Just stick with the brilliant original.
Giant man-eater, cop trying to stop it, but hindered by higher ups, gets help from the particular man-eaters expert, one guy capable of hunting man-eater. There's a lot different, but it clearly used JAWS as a template
Criminally underrated channel

Agreed. Listening all the way from New Mexico. One day they will review children of men and I’ll be here waiting.
Been watching them for 3 or 4 years now. One of my favorite channels to watch before bed.
Truth 👍👍
Idk how they don't have a million subs

23:00 you could say he........gater crashed the wedding party..........I'll get me coat
LOVE this movie too! So fun and Forester is fab!
YES!
I remember recommending this way back when Robert Forster died.
Alligator and C.H.U.D. are my favorite NYC sewer movies
Alligator takes place in Chicago.

Before sewer levels in videogames

To be fair, the gator isn't evil... he's HANGRY!

Nice one lads - you’re spoiling us this week 🤘
The best scene is when it’s at the bottom of the pool
Otsr 4 life 👊

Kelly’s death has always haunted me…

Good point.
Fellas, you need to check out another Jaws clone- Grizzly!
Ahh yes the greatest movie ever made...about a 30 foot alligator loose in the sewers of Chicago starring Robert Forster...in 1980.
I loved how wrote in Robert Forster's hair line and basically gave him crap all movie
This is a great movie! And you lads may be pleased to know there's a new movie called "Meth Gator," because why not?
Love you guys always gonna watch
Bro hugs and fist bumps from Weevil and myself, excellent review of a neat litlle film thankyou both 👊. Oh, and those folks going flying through the air got me aswell 😂🤣.
terrified me this film as a kid , great review as always guys 😀
Love this film. Watched it again recently.
Can you guys review the 'X' Trilogy?
'X' has a great scene involving an Alligator.
Big fan of your channel guys, love this movie, so bloody nostalgic, how underrated was Robert Forster?! Completely baffles me as to why he wasn't in more prominent films throughout the 80,'s , such a natural, human presence

All jokes aside, there needs to be a bunch of "Cocaine Animal" movies coming out.
Oh hell yes!!!! Another review and a classic, thank you guys for making my day!!!
Underrated romp! Cult classic & a lot of fun! Pretty good SFX. One of the better "animals attack" movies of the era.
At some point you have to review the ultimate jaws ripoff. The legend of dinosaurs and monster birds. One of japans most expensive movies ever made. Also who doesn’t love disco and dinosaurs? Long time fan and appreciate everything you guys do!
It's a great, fun film, and Forster is amazing in it. It makes an amazing double-bill with Q the Winged Serpent (or Piranha).
Well, Resident Evil 2 Remake does happen to be my favorite RE game! And I did enjoy blowing up that alligator a million times lol with that being said, I'll check this one out! Great review guys!
Another great review-but bit harsh on Alligator 2!’😂
More killer creature/giant monster movie reviews please
YES LADS!!!! all dudes will watch this!!!
Henry Silva is generally awful in everything, but he doesn’t detract from how good a movie this really is!..
26:08 Henry Silva.
shelf life! 🎉
Thank you guys! 👍 not the best crocodile-movie, many funny moments here! 😆
Just looked for a poltergeist 2 review and you have not got round to doing one yet, hoping for one soon.
Love your reviews lads. Have you reviewed Saw X? Can see you've reviewed all the Saw movies except the latest one.
Don't leave us hangin!

Awesome movie😊

I saw this in a theater with my father in 1980... loved it then and still love the dark humor. It's really not a Jaws clone at all.
Giant man-eater, cop trying to stop it, but hindered by higher ups, gets help from the particular man-eaters expert, one guy capable of hunting man-eater. There's a lot different, but it clearly used JAWS as a template

I just made this video’s 100th like 👍
60 seconds yay
Maybe it's just me, but I find the miniature-scenes really not THAT fake-looking.
This movie is fucking awesome!!!❤ love the review! My homies
Alligator and Lake Placid are great, plus anaconda
