What defines a firefighting lobby or protected escape route?

Hi James, could you answer a question about grouping? Would you apply grouping to every circuit in a domestic property as an example. Say the cables all enter from back of the consumer unit or in large trunking . You would have to apply grouping in every situation as all cables enter the board together and touch? Or do you only apply it when they are tightly touching ?

      Hi Adam,
Thanks for your question. I think it would depend. If the cables all follow the same route, then a grouping factor would apply. However, where cables enter the back of a consumer unit and are installed in a different route, then it might not be necessary to apply a grouping factor.
      Regards
      James
