About Twinkling Watermelon (반짝이는 워터멜론):
In 2023, Eun Gyeol (Ryeoun) is a high schooler with a passion for music. During the day, he is a studious model pupil...but at night, he rocks out as a guitarist in a band. But when he stumbles across a strange yet alluring music store, he goes hurtling back in time to 1995. Here, he comes face to face with his father Ha Yi Chan (Choi Hyun Wook) - as a high schooler! Yi Chan takes Eun Gyeol for a lunatic when the latter calls him “dad.” Worse still, it looks like Yi Chan has a crush on an icy cellist named Se Kyeong (Seol In Ah)- not his future mother Cheong Ah (Shin Eun Soo)! In a bid to put things “right,” Eun Gyeol joins a band fronted by his future father. But will this be enough to help Eun Gyeol bring his future parents together...and will he ever get back to the 2020s?

This kdrama must win the grand award! It's one of the best dramas i have seen in the past 10 years. I'm not overreacting or smth, but it has everything. This series should be watched by every teenager/young adult or everybody. The emotions it held is on another level

Honestly yeah this drama will go down as one of my top dramas the amount of crying that I did while watching this drama I swear I never thought a series with a name like twinkling watermelon would make me so emotional lol. I tend to not like series that make me cry but only because it’s depressing most of the time. the crying that went on during this drama was not that kind. It was a catharsis type of crying and more so because of how beautiful the familia relationships were that just made me bawl my eyes out. This really was a very moving drama.
One of the few time travel dramas that is extraordinary...well done..I broke down so much and watched the last episode with tears ..well done. ..🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉

Hyun Wook's favorite scene is my favorite too. The ost playing in the background, the cinematography, the visuals itself just so beautifully made. Very heartfelt.

Seriously, just thinking about this drama makes me tear up again. It was heart warming, deep, touching and comedic that is good for the heart. It also caters all age, like you as an adult will surely reminisce your younger days and will have a 2nd thought of how you are living your life.

Their chemistry is legit
As someone who likes watching light hearted things and is not a big fan of fantasy, action or drama elements, I have to say this show really deals with everything so well. Funny scenes were actually laugh out loud funny, romantic scenes were actually heart fluttering, sad scenes really made you tear up, the cast was amazing, the music was amazing, everything was pretty much perfect. I just know this will be my go to drama for years to come. I hope they win many awards as a reward for all their hard work, especially ryeoun.
