I just did a little search, Alok did podcasts with tiny channels, videos with view counts of only a few 100. Some of those podcasts were over an hour. You can really see how far and out this guy went to promote the film. That is a cool. He deserves the success, clearly he worked harder than anyone else doing this.
Courage to get a publicist, courage to hit the film fest circuit, courage to hustle for reviews, courage to maintain distribution relationships, courage to keep momentum going, courage to get “certified fresh”, courage to keep building awareness, courage for art design, courage to interview/podcast, courage for publicity push for every new platform. Ready for 2BR
I appreciate the minimalist interview approach here, but some lower third content telling us who this is and what movie we’re talking about would be nice 😊 Apartment 1BR, got it 🙏
I would have thought that it’s not that difficult to make a movie that Netflix would love and approve right away. I mean, look at their catalog. They love keeping the spotlight over the same kind of characters. Just look at the thumbnails in the catalog. When it is one of those plots where you are not said who the villain is. It is easy to guess who it is in the end. He tends to have the same characteristics. And there tends to be at least a portion reserved to “educate” the audience about the unfairness of a certain social situation. Personally, I am tired of producers, using their movies and series to “educate us”. I wish it all were just about entertaining us. No “hidden” agenda.
I’m more than halfway in and still have no idea what movie this is because I never heard the title in that opening - even after replaying (it’s said too fast). I would mention the title throughout and add lower thirds of who this is and the movie. With that said, the info was useful so I kept watching.
@@1sloo I don't care what they do. my intention isn't to tell people what they should or shouldn't do at all. but the question was, ," how do you make successful Netflix series?". my statements was a quantifiable observation. Not a demand or request

1BR is a good psychological thriller mixed with horror. I see why it has viewers. Thanks for the link to the movie.

your channel is a blessing!
I think that sometimes things get delayed because divine intervention - perhaps the third time was the right time - just a thought.

The movie is linked in the information section
@@filmcourage I was watching on A TV screen so can’t readily access. Would be helpful to have Lower thirds generally. Just a suggestion.

Are you asking them not to make woke series\movies? Or are you saying that they don’t make that kind of series\movies?
