The most humble man I ever met..I first met Michael at a set dancing session around 1966. A gentle genius..Musician and dancer..not forgetting his late wife Celine who was also a beautiful dancer. Thanks very much for recording this clip.

He has always been my biggest Hero in Traditional Irish Music and when they say " never meet your Hero", that definetly doesn´t applie to him. So gentle, kind and witty, just impossible not to enjoy the company of this man. Without him, the Story of Trad Irish Music would definetly have turned differnt. Thank You so much for this Interview.

Thank you so much for this wonderful interview. What a lovely, lovely man. Believe it or not, we've been dancing The Priest and His Boots with Michael and Céline every Saturday here in Hawaii.
