ENFJ here, in sales. My opinion on it is: if you’re in an environment where you’re forced to make meaningless conversation for the sake of making then yes, sales sucks. But if the product you’re selling is one that offers value - you’re helping people & the reward is pay and a new personal connection if you want it (ex: networking) Find a product you can stand behind and as an ENFJ you will FLOURISH in sales 👌🏾

It's all about the dollar at the end of the day, and we hate that. Striking up a conversation and forming bonds with a person with the sole goal of making money feels AWFUL!!!
Hah 😧 Now I guess the reason. Though I choosed Commerce and trades as my subject but later on I changed it into humanities. Later on after guessing all the things about myself and realising, now I know that I did the right decision. The things related to money basically there is lack of chances to help people is not for ENFJs like us 😥

My previous job was an office job and I never really liked it, but stayed for years for the money. I said to myself I'd never work in that scene again when I quit. Now that I have, I'm so lost trying to figure out what to do next. 💀
@thatotherself I hear what your saying. I did the office jobs and can't go back either. I'm also struggling with getting into an area that's a better fit. I'm finding that the jobs that I'd like to maybe apply for need a higher education level than I have. My other challenge is I'm in my 50's. I just want to love what I'll be doing and feel like I'm making a difference in this world, big or small. I wish you good luck in finding what you'd like to do.

As an ENFJ I just retired as an airline pilot. It was a perfect career for me as I continually used the intuitive skills. The Extravert skills were good for the command elements too. The other two elements helped with a crew environment. Odd that this career path is never mentioned in these recommendations.

ENFJ's can make for some fine entrepreneurs, because they make good products. If only they learn to value themselves and sell it for the price it's worth, instead of too cheap, then - although it is not a paying job - that can also make them lead a satisfying life and offer adequate recompense for their troubles. Being the manager of a good hotel and/or restaurant would also fit an ENFJ, as they like to accommodate well and they have a creative and innovative part in themselves. When these are big enough, the pay is well enough too.

Their kindness, creativity and genuine desire to make the world a better place - and willingness to make that happen where ever they can - is their biggest resource. With hard work and smart investment of the earnings any non-fool can build up something in his life. Only at first, that does pay sh**. Only those, that don't just do it for themselves, but see their work as part of building up society, will get through this face and then start earning better. The financial capital is created along this way often.
I agree man! An ENFJ is capital in themself never thought about it from that perspective. I put too much emphasis on capital (resources) and need to focus more on the path and just starting already. If your vision is big, I highly recommend networking with like minded people & who hold different yet great skill! I hope you will do great things and not take life for granted! God Bless! He can turn around a depressed loser, who always thought there wasn't enough, into a giver of attention, love, kindness, finances, knowledge and time. We were put on this planet to love God above everything and to love our neighbor as ourselves. When we start doing what we can do, He builds up our lives bit by bit. I always thought I was the one person without any talent. But my little bit, I gave to Him. And that was my time. I started to vacuum clean the church floor. Wow, did that start something! I gained experience and knowledge and now actually am a highly gifted and talented person. The change is hardly imaginable. But it always starts with one simple deed of obedience. From a person living in a shell and under a cloud into a person living to make others feel valued and grow. God bless you too and make you a huge blessing!
I working to be a real estate developer. I can build houses, hotels, whatever I want - and answer to nobody. Make a assload of money and have agents, investors and other successful people as friends. I feel like real estate investing is a great career for ENFJ types especially once you start networking in the real estate world. I could never do these new age software engineer or sales heavy jobs to save my life
And here I am an Engineer because I love my parents... I knew I was an ENFJ when on my saddest day of studies someone stopped me and said, "Rico how do you do it, you're always smiling like something great is going on and it lights me up too." I no longer felt sad, because apparently that's not real for me but it made me want to always be in the mood to uplift others and students if that's how I naturally am..... I will say when you choose a more challenging technical role, people love how you can take complicated ideas and make it so a 6-year-old can understand it. I believe people overcomplicate knowledge at times. We are called the Storyteller or Teacher as well

It all about how your mind work not finding personality type is 100% perfect. All personality type are amazing to each other. I read an article that personality types comes from birth while Personality Traits comes by environment you grow up in.

To be honest Yes. I am an ENFJ graduated in Bachelors with accounting and finance. I never enjoyed it but rather I was more into extra curricular activities like anchoring shows, acting and drama. The only part of accounting and finance I liked was giving presentations. That too for other theoretical subjects and not for accounting.
I wanted to do this, people have actually told me I should be one. But for an enfj, if you dont go to school for it right out the gate, theres no way we're going to school for that in our 30s. But we are so good, we could just start speaking and win a case.
Dennis in my 20s was a mixture of both school and work. I took for granted while I was in college because my parents funded my education. Then when I paid it myself I know that I can’t fuck it up 😂
