In all truth Gundo never was, rather than now is appreciated enough. Indeed I remember him becoming a target of a small section of the BOO! boys because he was modest enough to hide his personal ego, attacking talent and flair enough that he was prepared to support the likes of David and KDB. Then in the COVID-hit season he truly showed us what he could do up front. One of Sir Pep of Guardiola's greatest mistakes was when he dropped him into Rodri's position in order for the barndooritis-ridden (and thoroughly ineffectual on the night) Sterling to play atop.
When did Gundogan become one of the world's best? He's been scoring screamer after screamer in the recent months. What a legend
Playing around De Bruyne and Haarland free's him up to do what he has been doing. Love to see it. Teams have to pick their poison when they are defending City. Gundo making sure of that.

Congratulations Manchester City - I’ve been a Liverpool fan for over 40 years, but I like to acknowledge when other teams are playing well and Manchester City have been playing exceptionally well this season. The treble this year is definitely well within reach for them. The sky blues have set a superlative standard for other teams, including Liverpool, to reach next year. If they all do and if Manchester City also match their own high standards, next year is going to be great with a lot of exciting games and entertaining football.
