Stan Remington's Story

Another Whitchurch People's story. Stan Remington's life journey started in a two up two down terrace house in an estate in pre-war Tottenham. It took him through university at Cambridge to running BCA one of the most successful book clubs in the seventies and eighties. There he became friends with famous authors such as Wilbur Smith, Catherine Cookson and Laurie Lee. He has lived in Whitchurch-on-Thames since 1980.
