I always tell niqqas that Joyner is definitely a great story teller. Even our top 5 most beloved artist like the Kendricks and Coles don't come closer to his story telling skills
The big one that matters is he lead with the "Will Slap" because Joyner wrote... "Will" giving him his Rose just to watch his Idol publicly fall from grace right after...that's how you know that one hurt him personally. He lead with it in the song.
I know Joyner's old music use to be dope. He rose to fame with this controversial leftist bullshit. He's lyrical and complete dope artist but he's part of the Agenda
I felt this track and it been on repeat since it dropped. Glad you guys did this reaction. Yall always do em justice! And that melody is beautiful as well! Its serene and deep!🔥🔥💯
Beat hard as fcuk, skills otherworldly. The man is in a league of his own. So many underground bangers and Joyner just keeps improving. Definitely top 5 dead or alive. And currently possibly the best lyricist out here
@@dantethecat1623 I’m talking about his lyrical content, not the speed of his lyrics. Have you heard Joyners catalog? If not I’ll start you on some of his bangers. Go listen to Devils Work 1, Happy Birthday, and Keep it 100. You’ll see. No one in the game right now spittin like this
I would say he’s the best lyricist of the new generation besides jid. He is super talented and has potential to be a goat but he needs that classic album like nothing was the same or forest hill drive. These little songs here and there ain’t really gettin it for me but that’s just my opinion
Dude def speaks his mind and touches topics most wouldn't.. whether you agree with him or not it's refreshing to hear someone speak their mind without caring what anyone thinks
I don't say this often, but I think that this is a perfect song. It has no weaknesses. The beat is more incredible than people give it credit for. The mix is impeccable. The overall song structure keeps you engaged throughout, and it isn't too long. The lyrics are amazing. I feel the same way about Bulls on Parade by Rage Against the Machine, although the songs are obviously completely different. He deserves his flowers for this one. Unbelievable.
Great reaction, Joyner a great rapper if it wasn’t about radio play Or street music it doesn’t get the the respect he deserves, not to mention the picture he pants with his videos. Subscribing to your guys page for sure ! Keep it going guys!
Def one of Joyner’s best SONGS ever with replay value (way better then first 1). Joyner’s A game is elite . I’m a fan besides when he tries singing for most part even if he can be corny at times. One of my favorite emcees that I’ve discovered in the last decade (top10).
Coming from a Vegas rapper. I never messed with Joyner...but after hearing this I believe he's one of the best ever...you can feel every single word...wow
Idk if you will see this but one of his live tours he done in Boston I’m not racist song be done he actually got the two actors that played in the video to play on stage like a play while the song played over with the video clip in the background
Dolph’s death was felt a bit throughout the country, but MEMPHIS stood still. We were DEVASTATED! That was a really quiet day for us. So glad Joyner mentioned him, he was a huge W for Memphis when it came to the rap/hip hop game. We truly miss him!
I think I'm probably a little older than Ryan that is if I'm not wrong, Joyner is one of the very few rap artists in this generation who I truly acknowledge for the content they put out, ADHD and Evolution being two of my favorite Joyner Albums that I can't get over, his rap style, his word play and his ability to contextualize around very complex societal topics today through music is also amazing. and on this regard I wish to challenge Ryan to go back and give it another shot and maybe he will reconsider what he has just said about Joyner's music
Joyner Lucas never disappoints every time he drops he spits fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Can you please do Snoop ft. Battle Loco, Kokane & Phonixthecool - No Smut On My Name
Definitely a well done song with timely themes. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to reverse or retract things, especially in the last few years. Agree with the sentiments as well. Enjoyed the song and and as always a great reaction.
@LostInVegas What about the circumstances surrounding the HC of KB on 01/26/20? In particular, these 4 circumstances below. This doesn't get talked about enough and shouldn't be ignored. - Nike released a short-film "The Black Mamba" on 02/19/11. With hindsight, this was a prelude of more to come due to the symbolic nature of the film. This was 8 yrs 11 mos prior. - A tweet dated for 11/13/12 predicted the outcome of the event, that took place on 01/26/20. This was 7 yrs 2 mos prior. - In the final game of KB on 04/13/16, the fans in attendance received a KB action figure, which transformed into a toy helicopter.
