Hi Britt! Congrats on your RUclips channel! Very nice impression of our Country the Philippines.☺️😁 Filipinas are very loving and caring people they are genuine. Well most of us are☺️ We love taking care of our men😉👌
@dsrrellgriffith1161 a lot of night life there...bars.. restaurants.. etcetera.. I found it easy to meet people during the evening there during my last two trips in early 2024... And late 2023.. although right at the moment I can't remember any names of the bars or restaurants
@ boring after awhile. I lived there 7 years. Traffic can be bad going in and out. Ur talking short term, long term boring. Park social eas the best, they closed it down. It was a bar and restaurant, they moved it to mango. Nothing exciting at night. Most foreigners stay in their rooms, Most come and go, very few long term. Almost move or go back home
You’re definitely making a strong case for moving. I have a similar background. Lived in NY, WA, CA, AL, TN, MD, and VA. At 51 and divorced, I’m invisible here in the states. There’s definitely some freedom in that but it gets lonely.
To funny. I just saw you here today when I was checking in. You were talking to the concierge about this video and your channel. Strange it just popped up in my feed. I was going to ask you your channel name. Anyways I just subscribed. I am here for a week. If I see you again I will say hello.
If I had a choice between Bonifacio Global City in Manila and IT Park in Cebu City, IT Park presents a more cost-effective option, particularly given my girlfriend's residence in Cebu. Abaca Baking Company is a recommended establishment for Western-style breakfasts; multiple locations exist in Cebu City, and their addresses are readily available online. While I cannot recall the specific street address of the branch we visited, the food quality and quantity were exceptional.
Congrats Britt, your channel is taking off. I am a founding RUclipsr. Rare that nowadays one gets so many subscribers so quickly. 1.3K, most impressive.
Hey Britt, another wonderful video. Can't wait to see more. Just curious, what do you do to get money from the U.S? Do you use Remitly or some other way. I plan on travelling there soon and I want to make sure I get this right.
Congratulations Brett your channels fantastic, I was just wondering if you guys can chime in and tell me what is the best ways to transfer money from the United States to the Philippines you know to pay bills and to keep sending money to oneself in the Philippines?
How are you filming and editing the picture in picture videos? I like this style. Also, do you have an email I can contact you when we get to Cebu? We'll be there Jan 18-22.
People make the difference - you 'lived' in New York? That is YUCK, Inc. and that is definitely 'not' living. I would bet NY and Philippines are night and day - been to NY - they can keep it. The culture of the Philippines is a big deal. Nice people are a big deal. Thanks for the vid Britt !
My bro can we do a consult ..? I’ve been on the fence about waiting to earn a bit more ..currently at roughly $3k per month between SS and my small pension at 62…. Or wait for full retirement for $4k ..can’t get back time so if $3k is doable comfort ..let chat 🙏🏻💪🏻
@@NurseTalking I don’t want to just survive ..That’s why I’m a bit confused..Britt is saying he is flourishing on $1700-$1800 per month ..based on that $3k should be comfortable..can you elaborate
I lived in IT park for 7 years, and Solinea next to ayala mall. IT park is okay, nothing to do at night. Just a bunch of call centers and fast food restaurants. Small ayala mall, nothing really exciting. I got bored and left last year, 7 years is enough for me to live in the PI.
@ usa. Healthcare sucks there. You are one of those guys looking for girls at mall? The only girls at the mall are freelancers, u have no clue. You another vlogger who wears a hat 24hrs. U have no clue about PI rookie. Misinformation. Goodluck rookie
I really like your channel frankly

I get a kick how filipina women will answer yes with their eyebrows and point directions with their mouths. So cute 😊
Amazing people here.

Good videos.

@BrittMcalister 😊👍
Once again....thank you for doing this. 😊
Any time!
The cities (especially the bigger ones) are a different world from the provinces.
I wish the whole city of Cebu is like I. T PARK or Ayala compound very clean & organised but sadly it's not. But it can be done.

Where you live now at Marco Polo do you drive to get to the mall?
I drive my bike over.
Just wondering Britt, have you been in the northern provinces of the Philippines? North of Manila?
Inquiring minds want to know too.
Not yet. Will plan something soon.
IT Park is clean and tidy but you go walk down a normal downtown area and there's plenty of trash around to be fair. Show us Mango Ave mate haha 🍻
I will shoot that video soon. Want it at night or daytime?

$3K a month should be plenty. Rent for luxury condo should be around $500 a month.
