I personally miss the DC-8! I wish I could hop onboard one of those today and go on a flight, but alas, I don't think that'll happen. Thank you so much for these videos!
Great compilation!! The VC10's tagline was "Try a little Tenderness". The Lockheed L-1011 TriStar was way advanced for it's time. It was the first airliner fitted with Autoland.
This "brand-new" blue and white B-727 is beautiful! Why could not it no longer fly? It will pay back its owners flying like ancient planes turned into carrying freight. Thanks for sharing all those pictures of incredible planes😊!
@@BradyPhotgraphy blessings is the prime achievement for human being as well as for others, and animals in this creation of all mighty creator (GOD) . What a fantastic collage of indeed rare aircraft. It’s refreshing to see some of the older types vs plane spotting today are of the newer generation. Thanks for sharing
My 3rd plane ride was in a DC-8 when I was 7. I loved it. it was smooth, quiet, and great food. My first flight was a, Boeing 727 Whisper jet. I was scared, but excited too, I was, 6.
I used to live in Faringdon House in Faringdon near Brize-Norton... Ironically when I was little I flew in First Class on Pan Am's Clipper Bald Eagle to St. Maarten from New York (L10-11) which was one of those Brize Norton based planes. :-)
I was lucky to be able to fly a Delta L 1011 from Atlanta to DFW in 1993. Wow what an aircraft. So advanced for its time. I mean the damn thing could land itself!!
Excellent video - Great choice of aircraft! Question, wy does it seem like the European planes (some) have a heavy carbon exhaust? Is it the engine design or the less refined fuel?
Nice to meet you. Thank you for letting me see the various planes. It's rare to see an airplane like the last hot air balloon. I also take pictures of various planes at Osaka Itami Airport in Japan and post them. Please take a look when you have free time. I'll subscribe to your channel.
I clearly recall an RAF Lockheed Tristar L-1011 Airborne Tanker zooming across the skies, flying low over Wembley as it returned from a fly past over Buckingham Palace in Central London. It wasn’t noisy at all…!!! It was almost like a ghost flitting over West London and from my point of view, hugging the horizon as it flew in the direction of RAF Northolt. Beautiful aircraft
Why do the CFM56 engines on the DC-8-70 (and the KC-135R) look so huge, when the same engines look so tiny on an A340-300? They must have a much smaller fan diameter
Your comparing a wide body with a standard body so the engines look smaller because everything else on the 340 is bigger or the other way around the wing and plane is smaller on the dc8 don’t forget they are around the same size as current 737/757
When the plane is startup, and notices smooks getting out of its...,what to do? Why not stoping paarkin its?thats uncofotable.may the love light be your light.
Wauw, this really brings back a lot of good old memories! Thank you very much for sharing this beautiful video 🤩🤩
Boeing 727, the greatest passenger jet ever built. When taking off it was like a rocket ship, airstair built in the rear. I miss that aircraft a lot
And the L10-11
I loved operating on the B727-200 also..my all-time favourite
I personally miss the DC-8! I wish I could hop onboard one of those today and go on a flight, but alas, I don't think that'll happen. Thank you so much for these videos!
I also like the TU154 I wish I could fly on that plane 😊
him and Tu-154 as like as Siddeley Trident
Even a Lockheed Constelation............... great show Sir, thank you
Breitling of course. Seemed like a bit of a hot-dog. Does Red Bull have one as well?
The 727 at 22:30 gives me a chub. Flew it as FO for two years. LOVED it.
This would have been the best video on youtube if I knew what I was looking at
Great compilation!! The VC10's tagline was "Try a little Tenderness". The Lockheed L-1011 TriStar was way advanced for it's time. It was the first airliner fitted with Autoland.
The HS Trident was the first airliner fitted with Autoland.

Thanks for sharing all those pictures of incredible planes😊!
Great compilation
The best of the best ! 👏👏👏
anything i would give to see these irl. seeing the C-47 and the F-4 at the end was a nice treat
11:22 I’ve never seen an A300 without the little winglets they have… this video is so captivating, so many incredible jets of yesteryear…
Those without the winglets are the -100 and -200 variant. All A300-600 have those winglets.
15:29 Antonov 125 is the king of the cargo planes😊
How lucky we were just a decade ago or so when the RAF had VC-10s, TriStars and Nimrods. Now they've even retired the Hercules!! 😝
My desire is that, one day I may be a air flight passenger in my life so that I prayed to all mighty God for the blessings.
God bought you a ticket yet?

The modernized DC-8 is just fab.
❤😊🎉B727 engine on top nice airplane airliner.😊
Pure joy - thank you for sharing this gem.
I’m glad the planes featured in this video are still around to this day
Great shots well done!!!! 10/10

Wow hands down best video ive seen gotta love the old engines and sounds we will never ever hear again well done man
The livery is awesome , i love 727 or L10-11
my god look at that beautiful DC8 .
Gem of a video mate! Thank you very much!
The soviets had a really advanced aviation industry decades ago.
Building giants that have withstood the test of time
Lol no dude!
Boa noite, lindo show de aviões espetaculares. Parabéns pelo vídeo.
Amazing compilation! Thank you.
Absolute Aviation Gold ❤
super amazing airplane spotting, good job 👍

707 is crazy 😮😮
How many poetry we' ve lost 😢
Love it!! Interesting seeing the 747 land @ 32:10. I only saw three thrust reversers deployed - the port inner engine didn't deploy the reverser.
Love the smokey engines 35:19🙂🙂🙂
I miss the great verity of planes ..!! 👍😉
I was lucky to be able to fly a Delta L 1011 from Atlanta to DFW in 1993. Wow what an aircraft. So advanced for its time. I mean the damn thing could land itself!!
excellent video thank you I hope more of these are repeated👌
Boeing 707 J-Stars Air Force tail number 2005 brings back great times . I worked the fuel cells in that same aircraft.

What an insane collection mate! Fantastic video!
Contra Propellers are mesmerizing 😮
The “T” takes are my favorite. It looks like artwork to me.
Simply incredible! Fantastic video!
A DC-8 with modern engines doesn’t look like a 50+ year old design
02:24 - VC10, One of the top two most beautiful airliners of all time. The other one is Concorde, of course.
The Concorde is ugly asf.
what a great movie,
I like the DC8 - 73 with the new engines
Can you add in the lower corner the type of plane we are seeing? That would be a great help. Thank you.
that 727 engaged thrust reversers at 0:26.
wheel touchdown was at 0:28.
giddyup
That's Tu-154
Amazing collection. But the most impressive for me was NASA’s 747 SP 😍
Need more info on this Airplane:
@6:40 from the "Canadian Armed Forces"
Strange Airplane.
Excellent video - Great choice of aircraft! Question, wy does it seem like the European planes (some) have a heavy carbon exhaust? Is it the engine design or the less refined fuel?
the samaritan one is a dc8? If so the engines look different from the original
Nice to meet you. Thank you for letting me see the various planes. It's rare to see an airplane like the last hot air balloon. I also take pictures of various planes at Osaka Itami Airport in Japan and post them. Please take a look when you have free time. I'll subscribe to your channel.
1st plane: is it normal to reverse before the actual touchdown?
2:52 why do vc10 engines sound like afterburning engines?
I feel like the Conway birthed the Olympus
I was quite surprised by the RAF L-1011 going around twice without any windshear or anything
I guess it was a abort landing training flight - they do that quite a lot.
I clearly recall an RAF Lockheed Tristar L-1011 Airborne Tanker zooming across the skies, flying low over Wembley as it returned from a fly past over Buckingham Palace in Central London.

Beautiful aircraft
1st video, reverse thrust before touchdown??
Yes

17:10 what plane is this?
And what is this 41:09
17:10 Ilyushin Il-76
41:09 Ilyushin Il-96
What airport is that? Or is it lots of different ones?
When the plane is startup, and notices smooks getting out of its...,what to do?
Why not stoping paarkin its?thats uncofotable.may the love light be your light.
Great
at 40:05 why was number 4 engine turned off?
Asymmetric thrust maybe to get through crosswind

18:54 - ah yes, the Antonov Constellation
that Vickers was loud af!
Recent or old ???
Beautiful old planes, but also throwing lots of smoke through their engine's
What's@1:40
McDonnell Douglas DC-8
Dee See eight
Dc-8
Something wrong with DC8's nose. Dont know what has been stuck in there.
Excellent video, although it would have been almost perfect, if the aircrafts would have been, identified.
Wtf the first tupolev activated the reverse thrust before touching the ground😮
That is the way to do it, it he'd been explained many times before.
Most of the planes in this video have been presumed scrapped
Samaritan's Purse; is that an A-340?
Douglas DC-8
22:21
Isso é um 737?
727
What plane is the one with 4 engines attached on back
That` s an Ilyushin IL-62
👍👍👍👍👍
Tu 154 the best❤❤❤
38:30 st. maarten?
C'est ou cette image ?
Someone needs to restore a VC-10 to flying condition
DC-8 like a kangaroo, slim body and muscle legs-engines
An124 take off sound always scared me
Soviet planes are the most beautiful!
M-star is to be scrapped
tu-154 oh my god its too old!!!!!!
Fly airplane
Obrigado por me mandar 👀🙆🏿♂️🇧🇷💰
Should be titled old Russian crap and others
Samaritans Purse. That's a joke, right?
