These races have really progressed since the first race... From the field of racers, to the skill level of the racers who have been in it from the beginning and most importantly, the safety is top notch now.. Great race to watch. Very enjoyable
How about the coverage.. the first freedom 500 was just one camera view from the stands and barely any commentary, it’s come a long way.
Congrats Kevin one heck of a race. Cleeter hit you twice and nearly half the field did. Loved seeing LS George Running up front as well... I gotta go to one of these events...
Gotta love this guy he's a true racer couldn't ask for a better guy after being spun out how many times he fought to keep on goin he was really lucky that there wasn't more damage than what had happened

Unbelievable 5 wins and just getting started: what a Career 'start'. Unlike most racers, Kevin worked from the bottom up, that is, from little pieces of steel tubing and lot of weld bead. Conception to trophy. Trophies!
Kevin knows how to race, he knows how to tune by feel, he knows all walks of racing except drifting… he is a weapon as d should be getting paid the big bucks in international racing

8:37 I had a 72 caddy hearse when I was 17... 472 in it.. One of the motor mounts was broken.. The entire engine shifted way more than it should have
I've been a Mopar boy all my life. If you didn't have your engine secured with a chain or something, you had dents in your hood... guaranteed!
Great job, would love to see what your right front tires look like after each event.
I could have gone another 50 laps on the RF after this one, the right rear probably only had 20-30 laps left in it though.

Kevin is obviously a talented round track driver, and it would be neat to see him do a series where he helped train some of the newer people that do these Cleetus events; watching their skills grow under his tutelage would be very interesting. Anyone else think that'd be fun to watch?

I’ve tried to help everyone that I can. Gave some pointers to Roman, JH, Demo Matt, Jimmys World, etc. Beyond what I can tell them, there is a “feel” that goes with keeping the tires hooked up that I have somehow figured out. If I’m in an equal car, I’m going to be near the front ;)

Congrats on the win Kevin! I think Brent would’ve had something for ya if his battery cable hadn’t come apart.
We had a run before the restart that his battery cable fell off. If I could get clear of him, I was able to drive away, but when he was close enough to bump into me on corner entry (he usually drives into the corners deeps on entry than I do) I raced a little conservative to keep a little extra control in case he bumped me.
