What I really love about this moment is showing how frustrating it is to lose, especially when that loss involves you along with it being an important match. One of my favourites aspects in sports anime in general since it conveys the real life passion for the sport whether it's from other people or the mangaka, making the characters feel more real
I have felt like this several times, that is why for some reason several of us have felt identified with that cry.. it is as if a lump formed in the fucking throat :,/
Nah he just question himself if he just past the ball and play as a team he would won easy but he wouldn't be the best striker and determined the game outcome alone
He knows he could’ve made the shot one his own that’s why he screamed continuously wishing that he hadn’t passed in that moment he could’ve scored easily
Yeah u clearly don’t want to win. If u put ur all into something then you will feel like this when it doesn’t go well. I hope u know it’s that deep. I felt the same way when I lost a tennis tournament when it if I didn’t miss the ball I win the match. It hurts and some half baked npc like u will never understand that
he knows he can play again, he just hates losing, if it’s a sport you really love and is extremely competitive when playing it then you’d hate losing too
lol, then you don't get the show at all man. The whole show is about not losing no matter what, if you lose, you're weak. It's a show based on ego and being the best. The stance on the show is that you only get one chance. And losing the nationals is not dumb at all, it's a whole journey to even reach there.
It was theoretically Isagi's last chance to make it in Japanese football, because Isagi was a 3rd year in school and after the match the Coach said "All 3rd years are now retiring" because you can only compete for the Nationals in Japan until you're in 3rd year (in Sports animes that is anyways), that's why Isagi was visibly upset, but Blue Lock basically offered him an alternative route to still possibly make it into football

This is The reason i cant take isagi seriously as a character, the dude is acting as If he cant never play again over something as dumb as this.
he knows he can play again, he just hates losing, if it’s a sport you really love and is extremely competitive when playing it then you’d hate losing too
It just shows how much of a egoist he is, he really doesnt wanna lose no matter what, he wants to score goals and win
Read the spin off isagi. You will know the situations which led to this
