I show the menu system on both the camera and the app. I show several examples of the video camera in use, including a side by side comparison to the DJI Action 2. Excellent review Marcus and very in-depth. I think it is great for $160. It seems like a great camera for someone that can't afford the latest Gopro or Osmo. I'm glad to see SJCAM still around. They always made good budget options.

Good job, Marcus, as always. I was wondering if there were any 360 cameras that aren't outrageous in price that you know of.
For the price, it definitely isn't bad, you wouldn't expect it to compare with the saturated video on the DJI action cam. Yeah, the app looks to be clunky, but we're spoiled with DJI quality. Great video, Marcus 👍

Hmm That might work for when I go camping, Since my GoPro is a piece of..... Can you hook up a USB c wireless Mic in that USB C port?
Yes, the USB port will work for wireless mics. It is something that I did not test though.
I read somewhere that there is a 8x digital zoom however I have not been able to find that function. How do I use the digital zoom. Thanks in advance.

It looks good for a budget action camera. And not really fair to compare it to a GoPro, since it's less than half the price of that camera. Nice in-depth review, I can tell you really put some time into this one. Thanks for sharing.

Muito bem estabilizado também coma c300. Será que é possivel trabalhar as corel na edição para saturar mais. Percbi um crop na c300 comparando a imagem da Dji, isso é real mesmo este crop?

Thank you for this review. I planned to buy this camera as a secondary camera to my Pocket 2. But now, i cancel. The image quality is not good : no saturation, and contrast is not ok.
The price is ok but when we make movies, what we need first is image quality. I will probably buy another DJI or maybe an Insta RS : Not same price, but better image quality and customer support, in case of problems. Thk U

I'm not able to record for more than 13 minutes in one file. It stops after 13 minutes and then immediately continues recording in a new file. Making 13 min files each. Is this the same for you too?
It depends on how you format the TF card but yes, this is generally true.
Ok …. I watched your review and it was a very thoughtful, informative presentation. Like you, I am an older guy and have been using Go Pros and DJIs too. I was thinking about buying the Insta 360 Go 3 but am turned by off the price. This small camera will fit my needs and be a good companion to my the other action cams. I was just wondering about transferring the video to my iPhone or iPad ? Is it an easy transfer ? Just wondering. Thanks … great job.
I was not terribly happy with the video quality from this one. I transfered using the micro SD card. I suspect that could be done with a card reader on an iPad but don't knoe for sure.

Actually looks pretty good… and I’m a die hard GoPro fan 🤣. Good that it didn’t overheat. But I’ll stick with GoPro I think for the sharper video quality 👍🏻👍🏻

I never tried it. I don't know. I suspect there is a setting.

With the big battery attached you can place the camera in a plastic pocket protector and put the camera in a shirt pocket and the lens will peek out of the shirt pocket but the rest of the camera is concealed in your shirt.

Do you know how long it will work with the 1000mAh batter in 720p 30fps?
I wanna use it as a body-cam (most body-cams don't look good..) so it'll be very helpful if I know how long I could use it with the small battery
I do not know; I can guess though. I suspect no more than a couple of hours of constant filming.

It does have car mode. The biggest worry would be overheating.
Actually a decent looking camera picture and sound quality seem to be pretty good the stabilization looks pretty decent also ,was it easy to get the raw files off it to the computer or iPhone? Anyway great video!!

I just purchased the SJCAM C300. I think the video quality is stunning and I have a Go Pro and DJI Osmo. Just wondering if there are any videos or on line guides showing how to connect the camera to an iPhone or iPad. Haven’t had any luck so far. Thanks …..
I suspect you will need a card reader to load the videos on your device. 🤷♂️
I know how to get the videos/photos out of the camera transferred to my iPad or computer. I mean pairing the camera with my iPhone ? Just cants seem tp pair it.

It's been a while since I used this camera. As I recall it was very straight forward, just connecting in Wi-Fi settings.

Personally I quite like it.Reputation wise this comes from what is by all accounts a very dodgy and untrustworthy company.I believe the build quality is very poor and flimsy from other reviews and voice recording in "selfie mode"is very poor as well as very,very poor battery life especially without the attachment.Saying that it's worth looking into it for the price point.

@@IdahoQuadcopter I saw so much fisheye in a number of the shots that it wouldn't be for me, but if someone wanted something that wide, it would work for them.

Video quality is dreadful...think that's the bottom line.
