Woolworth's was so much fun when I was a child. It was so exciting to me to see the displays:) I am glad you appreciate the collectibles from those times:) I loved seeing them. There are so many Baby Boomers like me that will be breaking up their homes now it should be a treasure hunt!
Loved the little figures. I do mixed media art and they would be great. Since they are so old I would do a mold of them. The fruit that you said were velour type were actually called Flocked when they were new to the market back in maybe the sixties. Im glad Taco Stacks can mentor you.
Oh Great! Was looking for something new to watch this late! I'm the night owl! Love the "fake fruit on a stick"...😂 and really do love those byrds! Great haul! 🐦🐥
Great video!!!! You are fun to watch. I like being able to see unique items . . . Not just the regular stuff everyone else is buying. I wish you the best of luck with this endeavor. Mr. Taco Stacks?????? That struck me as very funny for some reason. Could have been the way couldn’t keep a straight face when you said it. 🙂. I am a dedicated Taco Stacks follower. I adore everything about him and what he does!!!!!!!! Have a great weekend.
that was a hand painted chest with the bunnies , sought after by collectors of that medium :) toy chests are huge seller in specific collectors. i collect the strange and occult items so if we meet one day ask me about stuff
Taco Stacks 'forced' me in looking at your channel. ahahah Happily I was not at those estate sales I saw so much stuff i would have bought. It hard on a wallet. :)
12:03 ummm you did it again!!! most folk i have spoken to over the last 50 some years...when asked "do you like clowns?" the common answers are NO!, scarey, hate them, ewww!!!! sooo, me thinks No one likes clowns! lol love your videos, thank you!
I spotted the peas and was like oh, I would have grabbed those! I also love birds and the vintage Christmas decor. Great finds, some of my best finds have been late in the morning. I love to dig through boxes and get to know the seller. They often give you things or give you great prices.
Thanks for sharing your videos, there were things in the houses especially in the basement of the second house, full of artisan objects, even the two planes you bought are collectible, I think of the early twentieth century. Excellent purchase and ciao from Venezia.😉
not everyone likes clowns but that was a sweet trash can and little birds, I sold some of the rubbery plastic deer before but wish I had kept them, maybe I will find more someday
Woolworths went out of business in the US in 1983, so those veggies, fruit, etc on sticks were definitely vintage. I came to your channel from Taco Stacks. I have to say the video was hard to watch because of camera jiggling. The are cameras with stabilization available. Please consider this if you want to get serious subscribers.
I use a Hero 7 White. Most likely the movement was because of going through the items, while holding the camera & holding the items. If you check out the recap at the end, no shaky video there! Thanks for watching!
You bought a trash can and then a bunch of trash to fill it with, lol. Just kidding.... not really. I tossed half the stuff from my last haul. Better luck next time. Nice video.
Thank you so much for posting today! Great finds! To you have a link to your Etsy shop? Several of the pages I follow post it, great way for additional business!
Ha! I literally just popped a YellowStone hat in the main to Germany! I started listing them because of Taco as well. Damn! He needs a commission! Love the peas and the velvet oranges. Fun interesting finds.
I noticed that you didn’t pick up any Christmas items...no vintage ones maybe? I’m from Canada and we don’t have ,or at least I have never seen any Shiny Bright here...are all Shiny bright ornaments considered vintage? Do they still make them? I see them a lot as part of US youtubers Vintage Christmas hauls. Thanks for the videos! Am catching up on all your videos as it is now October 2020!
Shiny Brite ornaments are the most common vintage ornaments for people to collect that enjoy vintage Christmas items. They are still made today under the same name but by a different company.
Very similar to a sale I dropped in to explore today [03-22-19]. Will return this Sunday, as there is a vintage Webcor reel-to-reel tape recorder I hope to land, as well as some vintage tools.
Would you please be willing to share where I can get the thingamajig for the phone, which you use for hands free when out for the estate sales? Please and thank you.
At times it is sad, especially when the family doesn't keep personal items such as photographs and letters. The positive aspect though is estate sales allows for others to purchase these items & save them from the trash.
@@PaperandMoose very true, it is very sad that a lot of people only care about the money and no memories with regards to the pictures especially. You're doing great with your channel, keep it up
I have my friend Shara watching your vids. We are playing "what would Shara purchase" via text while watching. You have similar taste, but did leave behind things she would have snapped up, like the toy box with decals and the cute stool. TFS
The toy box was super cute, I just didn’t have a big enough need for it for myself (besides could be used for storage). I did purchase the little wooden stool, I just didn’t include it in the recap. Thanks for watching!
Don’t get me started on vintage Christmas... I would buy it all if I could! I look at the pictures before hand & try to estimate from there what I would be willing to spend on the items that I want. I have different budgets for items that I want for myself & for items I’m going to resell. Reselling budget is usually lower as I have to make sure I’m going to make my money back. I try to be wise & frugal at times, but then I find something amazing & there goes my frugalness 🙂
I would have bought everything on that christmas table and the little step stool you got is adorable so cute.... i would need to rent a u haul truck just to carry out all the goodies I found....
Yasssss

Woolworth's was great for the old time counter in the kitchenette-diner section. Used to love going to eat at Woolworth's!
The hotdogs 🌭 with toasted buns. My goodness.!! Thats what i remember.
Paper and Moose I was a waitress there! We received. Our pay cash each week in gold bank envelopes
I still remember the smell of Woolworths!

Great video! Maybe you could pan a little slower though. It was hard to see anything in some of the shots.

You go way to fast, please it’s making me dizzy and my head hurts!

MacKenzie Drake yes she's such a lovely genuine human being.
I love estate sales but they can be so overwhelming at times when they have lots and lots of stuff to look at. :D

Omg. I had a box of those pink dolls as a child! I totally forgot about them until now!
Hey Renee, check the tags on the Champion shirts and see if it says "reverse weave". If it does list those high or start a high price on auction. :).
Check the branding on the plane blades. Good manufacturers can bring good money.

Would of loved a better look at the toys and what about the posters ? Some rock band posters can go for big bucks !
I remember those pink figures as a kid !
Back when you were told not to eat them ,and you didn't. It was a great time to be a kid !!! Love Your Vid's
New to your channel. Taco sent me.
everyone has different needs so you can almost always find something.I love estate sales
Woolworths was my first job, I was only 16yrs old! How funny, In January will be 68. Thank You Paper and Moose for another great video.

Taco Stacks said about your channel love it 😊
Thanks for stopping by!
You and Taco she get married, you would make the perfect couple.
Are you and Taco Stacks dating? Just a vibe I get.
I remember the ads for 100 dolls in comic books. I always wanted to send for them...glad I didn't .
Great video.
My grandmother had those dolls. There were lots of dupes in the box. I remember how tricky those comic ads could be ☺.
Hahaha, why not have 100 dolls hanging around your house?!
Look carefully at the old tools ect they can be worth $$$ Good Job !
Wow your hair and skin looks wonderful in this clip

Watching your videos are very educational. I have never sold clothes, hats but you make me want to step out of my comfort zone!
Fake peas, what more could you want? Wonder what they were originally for?
Haha nice jerseys from Bridgewater. They kind of remind me of Al Bundy.
Have lots of cut jerseys knocking around the boys cut them to fit over their shoulder pads for practice
Really nice video, you're doing awesome, keep it up.
Those estate sales are kinda sad, a persons whole life just given away

What is your Etsy shop? Love the little pink figures!
Hey Renee - We need an address for you. If you don't have a P.O. Box, go out and get one.
I like women antique hats that's what I would buy !
Dollar Tree has frames for the baseball hats so if need be you can wash them

budget are you doing ? I love Christmas everything ..... I would be
broke real quick 😕

I thought to myself, Taco would love those hats.
Move the angle of your camera up so u r in the frame
Stools always sell for me. Especially the more rustic. The one you showed had original paint..more desireable
I was surprised they only charged me $5 for the stool. I couldn't pass it up!
I would have bought everything on that christmas table and the little step stool you got is adorable so cute.... i would need to rent a u haul truck just to carry out all the goodies I found....
I was hoping that there would have been more vintage Christmas... I might have missed it since I wasn't among the first in the door.
Did you sell those 100 pink dolls yet?
Good work now go and sell it. Ha,ha,ha, ! Well done!
you got some really good stuff....yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :D
