Hi Renee. Welcome home. Hope you had a wonderful vacation. This was an awesome Flea Market and with your friend the Tote Man. God Bless you Renee. HUG'S 🤗. Good to see you back. Mari'a. 🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁☕☕☕👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💕💕💕💕💕🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I can never get enough of your excitement when you find either P Burg stuff or Yellowstone items. Glad you are back doing what you do best. Hope your Yellowstone vacation was amazing.
Early one again and then the three ‘R’s’ come in; Research, Re-use, Re-sell. V good. I liked those tonal-coloured pencils( Im learning coloured pencil drawing ) but the P Burg stuff was the real prize of the morning. Nice one Renee!😊
Looks like you've got that "itch" once again...may the "Flea Gods" be on your side! You are certainly an early worm! Well......................not quite everything!!!! I found two graduation programs from my high school...Polytechnic...long before I attended...they are from 1929 and 30 as well as 1941. I have a nice collection of old and newer brass and bronze medallions. Were given to me by a Masonic widow, whose husband collected them.
@@PaperandMoose Yes-Yes, I do...that's half the fun of having these yearbooks and other related ephemera! On the light side...I have "fallen in love" with some of those cute 1920-1950s girls...! I have my mom and dad's Jr and Hi School yearbooks from 1935/6...my mom was a cutie, and dad was handsome...when girls and boys looked their best! No Tattoos, orange hair or piercings, hoodies or other strange accessories then!
The tote man had a lot of interesting stuff . The household items and skincare , shampoo etc yes please! And the decore items ❤ Really enjoyed the video!
I'm so glad you did so well at the flea market. Tote man comes through again! That Pburg stuff is awesome! I love you. Have a great week. Stay safe, healthy, and blessed ❤. 😘💞💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✌️
Great to see the flashlight brigade in action again. And you found an amazing assortment of Phillipsburg local items, I guess that you know some of the names written or printed in this pretty neat school memories book. Seems that the old photographs are probably from the "Roaring Twenties", great find ! The Franklin Mint produced a lot of different collectible stuff during the past decades, not all of it is worth a lot nowadays. Can´t wait to watch your P&M Special featuring your Wyoming experiences ! 😃Greets from GER, U.
A great selection of photographs and I got to that tote some time after it had been out! My lucky day that no one else noticed it! It feels like my Wyoming trip was months ago, funny how that happens. What is funnier is that when I had my layover in Denver, there was someone on the plane from Cody going to Munich! A small world, that's for sure! Hope that you have a great week, Uwe!
Maybe one day someone will make a Miss Moose Beanie Baby! 👏👏 Speaking of moose, did you happen to see one on your trip to Yellowstone this year? Did you take any video there? Gotta love your classic "open mouth" surprise look! 😮
No moose sighting while in Yellowstone 😞 I think that on my next trip there, I’ll probably go south through the Tetons & perhaps finally see a moose there! I will have a video from the trip, most likely the beginning of the upcoming week.
Hello Renee. I hope you had a wonderful trip. I love the photos .I think it’s really cool that you found old 30s stuff from your high school. I would love to go shopping at the Totemans he’s always got some great stuff. Take care. 🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🫎🫎🥰🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫎🫎🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
I love watching your videos...what fascinates me is how quickly and sort of roughly, how you look through stuff. I'm in the UK and at what we call a Jumble Sale a while back, there was one lady there who had the same style of looking through everything, she was American and bought tons!! I was taken aback by just watching her! 😂
I try to be as careful as possible when it comes to looking in a tote with glassware & breakables. It would not be possible to take out every item individually to look, so have to move things over. Space is precious at the Tote Man’s, so many times I move things over to another bin to look in one.
@@PaperandMooseYes I do see you are careful, just love the speed at how you work through it all. In awe of all the brilliant bits you find too...keep these brilliant videos going ❤
My schools elementary Villa Park had been teaching for over 45 yrs. The older buildings are quaint as well as having cloak room, a rainy day boot shelf, etc. My Jr high was new we went to 3 different ones. Due to new building. I loved bicycling in the fog. Fog seemed to gooble up structures and plants too. Many of us went together from K to 12th .
@@PaperandMoose ... you speak about your connection to schools. My recollections of mine are strong images The road up to my elementary school was fun crossing railroad tracks . Passing orange groves esp when in bloom an amazing scent. Our elementary school rooms had stages at the front of each. Oak flooring which gave a satisfied squeak when walked upon. The items you collect bring about memories for myself. Orange County California esp the city of Orange has a deep history. The name of the county and city were a card game winners choice of names. I can remember as if still in the day time. A gift passed to me by my dear dad. Orange and Villa Park both blossomed by citrus growing. Walnut and Avocado also part of the agricultural landscape of the city. Three packing houses in less than 2 square miles. Train tracks to take the crops to markets.
What a fantastic album! What great photographs! And all in such good condition. Congratulations! Along with the personal items, a most successful flea market day. Will we get to see some of your adventures in Wyoming? I hope so! Cheers Gabriele - Berlin
Renee, in the UK we have "Boot Fairs" and there we have a problem with fake items, including beauty and higeine products, like toothpaste (!) so we have to be aware of this. Not sure if it's the same there. Great video as usual x
It looks like you picked up a set of Brutfuner color pencils and other art/craft supplies. Brutfuner pencils are a decent set of pencils for hobbyists, above student grade and not kids pencils. Did you actually pick them up and just not show them at your finale?. How many pencils in the set? Was it the 2 tiered set? How do you re-sell these? I might be interested.
Geez what a serendipitous find on the Phillipsburg material. I really enjoy when things like that happen. Will you do a HBtP on the man without arms? My daughter went to high school with a boy who was missing most of his arms due to something called Thrombocytopenia Absent Radius - which is a condition having to do with low platelet count that prevents the forearm bones from being formed. He did everything that everyone else did though - even worked with a robotic person for working prosthetic arms and hands (hadn't quite got there at the time we knew him). If the guy in the pamphlet had been born 50+ years prior - to a family without many resources - his only option might well have been work in a circus sideshow. Happily things were better by the time he came along. Autographed copies - he must have written with his feet. "Franklin Institute" - I wonder if someone made those hoping they would be confused with the Franklin Mint? Did someone throw that tote lid over on you at about 4:28? Have you ever seen a Tote-Rage incident? Thanks for the video (and the quick shot of the trunk around 2:50) - hope the rest of the photos are Phillipsburg!
I'll add the man to my research list! You are absolutely right about if being born some time before, the circus most likely would have been a main source of work for him. Between that & the Pburg album, some random bits of ephemera amongst all the newer craft items and health & beauty products! The tote lid fell over as they were removing something from the tote. Not done on purpose, not a big deal. Oh there has been Tote-Rage incidents for sure! From people taking things out of piles (which is why I will never make a pile on the side & leave it while shopping), to heated "discussions" about prices, to actual stealing of items from the totes multiple times. There can be little incidents where two people grab the same thing at the same time or someone tries to look in a tote as another person is bringing it out. So many unwritten "rules" to shopping at the Tote Man!
Hi Renee I was wondering 🤔 about the fea market was it just really very low cost at this fea market ? I don't know anything about that kind of fea market before. But I did enjoy your video. Take care and blessings to you. Your friend Joyce from California. Hugs ❤️ 🫂 🤗!!
No apologies needed! The prices at the Tote Man varies. For larger items, like tools, outdoor equipment, furniture, etc., he has a set price for each item. If he has boxes of comics, certain pieces of clothing, he also has a set price per each one or he will give you a bulk deal if you purchase all. Once I finish shopping, I bring my bag over to him and take out everything so he can have a look & he gives me a bulk price.
Love that you found that PBurg album! Now it will be saved!
The moment you realized the school scrapbook was from P-burg. Priceless!
😊More fantastic bounty from the Tote man.
Definitely, worth the early day. Thanks.
I know the feeling of finding local things!! I collect only Townsend MA items and I've found some in the strangest places 😄

It's so cute you love your school and have fond memories. Most of us, not so much, didn't like my high school then and certainly don't like it now.

Great find on the Stampin' Up ink pads! And the photos are awesome. It's s nice to see someone who wants to keep them rather than throw them away.
You could do a junk journal with the p-berg stuff. Pick a card and create a page to illustrate it. like the ladies tea ect.

Fake toothpaste?? Do they make fake of the name brands & have them in the same packaging? That’s crazy.
@@PaperandMoose Yes they do! And they use super sketchy ingredients!! Same for deodorant, skin cream and so many more…
