Great points to reaffirm your desire and goals to be a writer. That is an important battle to fight.

i always feel like when we remind ourselves that writing is a choice, **OUR** choice, we're happier and more enthusiastic doing it!

turns out i'm an all or nothing kind of person. gonna eat, sleep, and breath the thing, or not at all. Im going to try to stop making resolutions to do a thing every day/week/etc, because I have /never/ stuck with a schedule, and yet I get a lot of things done anyway. Just gottaa find a way to make this binge schedule work for me.

    I'm late!
Sporadic with Intention is definitely a lifestyle for me, especially while struggling with depression. Thank you for shouting this out! So many people try to scream from the rooftops about writing every day, but they're not getting 10k words in a day (which is my average on a "writing day"). Appreciate your perspective and voice!

100%!!! I'm often writing "as much" as people who write every day. even if i'm writing far less often! also i personally sometimes find it aggravating to only write 30 minutes. it's like i was JUST getting in the mood, just finished remembering everything that came before, etc !
