The thing is Adrian slept with Ben to get back at Ricky because he thought that he cheated on her with Amy in fact they never slept together after band camp. And then after she got pregnant by Ben she did want to justify it by getting married to him because she felt guilty after she learned the truth and she felt even worse when she got pregnant. And then Ben wanted to marry her out of obligation because their dads were pressuring them into getting married.they and Ben always felt guilty for betraying Amy.

Or as protective as Ben is for Adrian. Say what u want about anyone Ben had her back from start to finish. No matter how much Ricky grows up he is always going to be behind Ben.
