Only the bravest of musicians would dare to tread here.... Completely authentic, phenomenal talent, emotionally charged, gorgeous, some of the most beautiful absolutely soaring vocals I have ever heard! A true Rockstar, standing ovation!
Oh my how wonderful. I was listening to this spectacular one of their greatest pieces on my cycling training ride and wondering how I could play that on the piano. Thanks so much. Oh yeah and this that is some spectacular virtuoso work. 🙏
You don't you never transcribe any of these do you? sheet music for this I don't think q the Hal Leonard version is adequate to cover things like Steve Walsh's solo for the piano line as a whole
Awesome job!! Wow. My favorite Kansas song. They were the first of 3 bands at a concert in 74. It was their first album. I left that concert jaw dropped, blown away and forever a huge Kansas fan.
So good to see this talent with the younger generation....Never thought there would be anyone to ever come close the greatness of Steve Walsh in his prime.....enter please Dennis Atlas....a worthy competitor,!!! Keep it coming!!!!!!
This is better than amazing! No words to describe how good this is. This is probably my favorite song of all time and you knocked it out of the park. I hope you are touring professionally because you are really really good.
Long time musician here - soooo very good. I hope you find ways to share your gifts in a time that wouldn’t necessarily reward this level of musicianship. Phenomenal !
Very nice job on a very difficult Kansas song. I had just listened to the whole album last night and forgotten just how good it was. I saw them play when they were on their Left Overture tour in 1977. I will never forget Steve Walsh doing hand stands on top of his Hammond organ in the middle of many of the songs.
Kerry Livgren wrote this song. Love Steve Walsh’s voice but Livgren was the key to the band Kansas. His composition skills are what you are hearing here. Fantastic work playing this.

Nice. I wish someone would make music this challenging in todays market.

Kansas *is* still putting out new music, y'know. Look up "The Prelude Implicit" and "The Absence of Presence"
The algorithm has learned something for once... There are still good videos out there. This is a beautiful expression
Just back watching it again. Amazing, Dennis, totally amazing!

I think his voice sounds closer to Geddy Lee than to Steve Walsh but he can reach the notes, unless he’s getting vocal help with tech.
He's not .@@yactabay

Great. You did Steve Walsh proud, and Kerry Livgren, too.
Kerry Livgren wrote this song. Love Steve Walsh’s voice but Livgren was the key to the band Kansas. His composition skills are what you are hearing here. Fantastic work playing this.
Where did you learn to play like that?
That was unbelievable! Do you take steroids?? Lol
Kidding. How were you able to remember all those parts and solos?
Steve Walsh come back again...Hughes from Perú..
