I thought the same thing! Everytime a knight got the puck in the first and most of second a shark was watching, not hitting! Eichel was able to float around untouched! If this team can't match skill, then it needs to hit. Time to sit some vets who seem to not be listening. Who cares who it is! Zetterlund, Toffoli, Wineberg, Eklund, Goodrow, etc. Fk the nice guy crap. I loved how Warso got all over the boys in that TV timeout in the second. It was way overdue!
as an Avs fan, I can say that was how it was in Colorado also. The rest of the team was holding their sticks tight because they didn't have faith that if the puck got past them Georgiev would not be able to stop it.
Exactly how I feel about him 😢 and if all the fans sense it how bad it is for the players?! I understand that it’s the coaches job to protect their players but I feel bad about this situation. Askarov should start most of the games !!!
@@alexgreen7728 I feel bad about the situation for Georgiev also. Unfortunately the Avalanche do not have the luxury or time to spend to work with him, they feel they are still in their window (with Mack and Makar and Rantanen) to try to win the cup. The hope for Georgiev is that San Jose will be better for him. Obviously the sharks want to win, but it isn't as critical as it is for the Avalanche at this time.
@@AnnO-k6v yeah I agree! You guys got a real deal in Blacky, he was rock solid for us from the day 1 and he deserves to compete for the cup right now! I like Avs since Quebec so I’m happy for you guys))) We also got our keeper for the future already and I just want Sharks to accept the reality and act on it. I know it’s easier to send him back to Cudas so he can play in AHL playoffs cuz of his contract but I don’t care 🤷 I want Sharks to win more)))
@@alexgreen7728yeah Asky playing in the AHL doesn’t help his development any further. He need to play at the NHL level to continue to grow as a player.
Georgiev had a great game last night… a lot of great stops and stopping the breakaway from Eichel. It was the team that let him down, Ceci up to much and letting his man get around him, Mukh as well which led to 2 goals
