I haven’t been fishing in almost 5 years now. Used to do it with my dad and his old buds, but sadly one of his friends passed away not too long ago. It was tough to get over since he was the one guy who knew everything about the spot we were at, what and where the fish were, and just the one that made everyone laugh. I watch these videos now and wish I was out there with my dad and brother on the open lake where we used to fish. Love the work put into these! Keep on living your best life man!!

Being from Hawaii everyone expects me to like the ocean, and honestly I use to be really afraid of it and stayed away from it for years. I’m a super strong swimmer and grew up in a beach house on the Punaluu side of Oahu, and I was more so afraid of the sea life and how unpredictable our wild life can be. Being that we’re know for having tons of tiger sharks in our Hawaiian waters. After watching pretty much all of your videos, I learned to just be mindful, respectful and understanding, and it made me a more confident in stepping back in to our waters. I found that Me and my brothers go fishing a lot more, and I’m not as afraid to to take a swim. Thank you for bringing back my confidence!❤️ keep doing what your doing!

Hey YBS squad, just want you all knowing this is my favorite channel and has been for well over 2 years now. I just want to thank you for these positive videos especially right now in my life. My brother who is my closest sibling was emitted to the hospital last Friday because when he went for a check up, they found a 20cm mass on his lung and it’s also constricting some of his arteries to his heart. I’m torn and so scared but these videos help me escape from reality a little bit and that Brodie, I can’t thank you enough for 🤙🏻 carry on brotha 💪🏻

Bananas are seen as bad luck on fishing boats. I think the myth arrived from bananas being transported on merchant sailing ships that made fresh food expire quicker due to a gas that the banana emits

Hi guys, when you hook a big tuna try powering ahead in big circles, the tuna will be pulled to the surface with the forward momentum of the boat rather than trying to pull them up with the rod. Your area and beach are an exceptional treasure. We used to launch off of the Padre Island Seashore beach in Texas in the 60's. Now a national park and not allowed. You have put tremendous energy and effort into building this product that all spearo's love to watch.
