Well done, Lee. I was in that exact spot a couple of weeks ago, trying for gar, to use as pike bait. Didn't get a sniff ! So it will have to be sardines on Wed, doing a session on the Ouse. Will def need the themals❄☃️
@@robsmith7391 I put them all back and it was a friend that said they are good pike bait that made me realise I maybe should’ve kept them. I’ve never used them as bait before, mackerel yes but not garfish. Are you fishing the Sussex Ouse or the great Ouse, guess it’s the Sussex Ouse. Used to fish that on the OAPS ticket years ago, is it still good pike fishing?
Sussex Ouse, I'm an Isfield member. A 6in tail section of gar is a great bait, much tougher than mackerel etc, and not many pike have seen it, if you visit heavily fished waters.
