These blades have stopping power. A couple of cuts and your attackers won't be able to continue their assault. Very impressive!
Michael Janich, years ago, set up this exact same target type showing the effectiveness of the Yojimbo. Perhaps the best and most realistic static target. Kudos on the performance of these blades, Tim! I can vouch for them! 👊🗡️🔥👍
It really is a great litmus of blade performance. Much better than paper slicing. Thank you brother🙏
The perfect knives against a grappler trying to kill you. Impressive!
Great explanation. Cutting g my pork will never be the same😮
Ok I'm convinced. I'll be getting one soon. They're expensive tho, need to save up a bit.
Now that is a demonstration!! I have never been attacked by a piece of paper.
When I first got my nightshade tanto I didn't understand the grind but now I love it and my guardian absolutely wicked for what there for and they still can work as a more normal knife awesome video
Thank you man. I use mine Nightgaurd for way more than I ever thought I would.
They do what the designer intended to do self protection awesome EDC knives outstanding quality.Keep up the great work bro.Semper Fi.
Thank you Brother! Semper Fidelis
Awesome Demo!! I love my NightGuard! My #1 EDC Blade! Highly recommend!
Thank you Jeff.
Great timing on this, been wearing the Nightguard for a week now and absolutely love it. I am so impressed by your blade design, the Guardian needs to join my collection early. The tip on your reverse Tanto is as precise as an arrowhead, great craftsmanship. Thank you for expediting that trainer to me, was practicing as I watched this video.
I really appreciate that brother.
@@TkellKnives Just received the Guardian, it's a beast and with a medium sized hand in the Sentry grip, I really see the added reach it gives me. It still conceals well in appendix carry but don't think I can give up that spot, the NIghtguard just fits so well there and remains one the most comfortable knifes I have ever held. Ordered a bunch of clips so I can feel out where the most comfortable place to wear it elsewhere. Some say that it's the small things you end up really appreciating and I just want to finish by saying that the jimping on your sheath is genius...a feature that has been helping my muscle memory on getting my hand in the right spot and deploying it quickly.
@@frankieb9444I’m looking in getting the guardian. Is the sentry grip worth it or is it better with original handle? Thanks
@@wolverinegnr For a self defense blade, I really like the sentry. When using appendix carry and drawing with either hand, the finger ring acted like a guide for a confident grip wasn't too close to the blade and allows for a quick off-hand draw that wasn't going to slip out of my hand. Since I use my Raider for more utility work I switched back to the old grip with that one.
Awesome demonstration! I can't wait for mine to arrive. Thanks for all you do. American made too, wow!!!
Thank you sir.
It is so deep cutting edge ! Hope I can see video when there is clothing or jacket cover on pork!
Dude you are awesome 👏🏻
🙏🫡
Nasty and awesome all at once! Definitely would not want to be on the receiving end of that.
Very informative Tim I now know I’ve made the right choice to go with the nightshade reverse tanto
Great 👍
What is more impressive : gingerly cutting paper /shaving arm hair -OR- absolutely destroy pork shoulders/ ribs at the BBQ cookout prep. ( with the slick draw and wrist flick)
I agree 100%
Thanks
Thank you for this video. It totally explains and addresses the initial concerns I had yesterday when I opened my new Nightguard. Now I'm assured that this is the perfect self defense EDC blade. But now I want a Guardian too!
Thank you brother.
Got my Nightshade on order.
Thank you sir.
What a bad ass video that looks fun .
Very well done thank you😅
Thank you 🙏
Tim, great demo, made some orders devil dog! Semper Fi 🇺🇸
jeez, if you pause at 1:12 you can see the angle on not only the cutting part of the blade but also the second/Top edge. great explanation and great knife.
Can't wait to see what the MR1 your making for me will do! May have to send in my Nighthawk and have you do the same.
I don’t know how I found your pulled pork show- rock on. Fun stuff.
Fantastic video Brother
Thanks for watching!
good gawd your blades are bad ass
Thank you, thank you for finally showing me I can get the Guardian with a ring! What I really wanted. Will be buying this week!!!
I’m glad it helped! Thank you very much
@@TkellKnives Ordered today!
Thank you brother
This video reminds me of the great Lynn Thompson 😉
Well it definitely is effective at doing what it’s made for.. looks freaking cool too! Gosh I hope it’s priced for me ❤
Thank you!
Can you ship to Thailand brother?
We ship worldwide via DHL
Well, if they want to cut paper, why don’t they get a knife that cuts tomatoes. That’s not with these blades are used for to help you clean a fish or a piece of pork or a piece of beef. Amazing blades amazing quality super Duper awesome. Thank you for sharing your video and this dude was doing us all this all this awesome work with a torn bicep, so imagine if all his groups were functioning right.
You’re right. Thank you brother. My bicep is a lot better. Still not 100%.
Mine came and was slicing paper like a laser. People shouldn’t buy a purpose driven tool if they don’t know what it’s used for. Cheers! I love my Nightguard! You hope you never have to use it, but I’d hate to be on the receiving end of it. It will Keel 😂.
Thank you sir.
Not that it needs more proof but wouldn't hurt to add some denim and clothing over the meat. Love your stuff really debating which to get however I personally just want this as a edc item rather then defensive thats just the cherry on top.
Been collecting more fixed blades that I want to pass down as "oh that's my dads, grandpa's knife. He used to use all the time for whatever."
I work in in a ranch but slowly my edc got more gucci but still used 😂
I make several blades more geared towards EDC.
You can never have too many
@@TkellKnives still waiting on a review on your huntsman. I plan to purchase one of yours very soon hopefully still in stock 😂
Would love to see with clothing material if the edge will penetrate
Will you be at the blade show in ATL this year?
Damn nice blades. 👌🏴
They all look great. Would love to have one or two of them. But they are not available. And don't appear to be anytime soon.
I’m releasing more soon. Just made the schedule for the next few months. Reach out via email and I’ll see if I can get you a blade.
It's faster and cheaper to grind is the main advantage to this 😉
That’s doesn’t explain why only handful of the 21 models I make have this grind. Maybe know what you’re talking about before you comment.
Hot damn. Great demonstration- and hope you made some tacos afterwards!! 🌮 🌮 🌮
That tenderloin was a little rank, but we
Do love some authentic tacos around here!
I’d be new to fixed knives. What if we don’t have pigs in…….wait…..ohhhhhhhhhh, I get it 😅. So many TKell choices‼️
😉👊
😮😮😮
Would be interested to see with clothing on too
We did one a while back with clothing
Is that tenderloin for sale?
I noticed you didn't mention the Gideon guess I picked the wrong knife I guess I should have spent less and bought one of those
This video was about the steep 30 degree grid knives that people question the sharpness of. The Gideon is very obviously incredibly sharp and creates devastating cuts. The steep grind knives are a different type of cut and built for one purpose, the Gideon is a multiple purpose. Don’t let the title of the video confuse you into thinking that these are “better” they are different but equally as effective.
Want to thank you for the comeback appreciate the info
You’re welcome Sir
Well I've been looking trying to decide.... u just sold a big boy guardian with the ring. I've got some questions, I'll email u on the same email string we were chatting on when I got the Gideon v3
Good I’m glad it helped. That works for me.
Do the night stalkers have the same grind or no?
No, the Nightstalker is designed as a slicing blade. The grind is much higher, thinner and uses a 20 degree per side sharpening angle.
@@TkellKnives right on. You're truly a master of the craft
I will take out a whole platoon of idiots with my night huntsman if need be ....js ..... Love that knife
That huntsman is crazy slicy!
@@TkellKnives i cut everything with it ...from rope to birthday cake to charlie
Charlie 😂🤣😂
Where's the night stalker
The video was about the 30 degree grind blades. The Nightstalker is not one of those although very slicy. It’s a different type of cut.
@@TkellKnives is it still a good self defense blade? Trying to figure out which to get
Absolutely, the Nightstalker is a multi purpose blade where the 30 degree blades in this video are singularly designed. The Nightstalker is also my best selling blade by a significant margin. One isn’t better than the other at cutting its just a different cut.
@@TkellKnives thanks man
You’re welcome Brother
