    Michael Janich, years ago, set up this exact same target type showing the effectiveness of the Yojimbo. Perhaps the best and most realistic static target. Kudos on the performance of these blades, Tim! I can vouch for them! 👊🗡️🔥👍

    Great timing on this, been wearing the Nightguard for a week now and absolutely love it. I am so impressed by your blade design, the Guardian needs to join my collection early. The tip on your reverse Tanto is as precise as an arrowhead, great craftsmanship. Thank you for expediting that trainer to me, was practicing as I watched this video.

      @@TkellKnives Just received the Guardian, it's a beast and with a medium sized hand in the Sentry grip, I really see the added reach it gives me. It still conceals well in appendix carry but don't think I can give up that spot, the NIghtguard just fits so well there and remains one the most comfortable knifes I have ever held. Ordered a bunch of clips so I can feel out where the most comfortable place to wear it elsewhere. Some say that it's the small things you end up really appreciating and I just want to finish by saying that the jimping on your sheath is genius...a feature that has been helping my muscle memory on getting my hand in the right spot and deploying it quickly.

      @@frankieb9444I’m looking in getting the guardian. Is the sentry grip worth it or is it better with original handle? Thanks

    • @frankieb9444
      @frankieb9444 23 дня назад +1

      @@wolverinegnr For a self defense blade, I really like the sentry. When using appendix carry and drawing with either hand, the finger ring acted like a guide for a confident grip wasn't too close to the blade and allows for a quick off-hand draw that wasn't going to slip out of my hand. Since I use my Raider for more utility work I switched back to the old grip with that one.

    • @TkellKnives
      @TkellKnives  Год назад +5

      This video was about the steep 30 degree grid knives that people question the sharpness of. The Gideon is very obviously incredibly sharp and creates devastating cuts. The steep grind knives are a different type of cut and built for one purpose, the Gideon is a multiple purpose. Don’t let the title of the video confuse you into thinking that these are “better” they are different but equally as effective.

    • @TkellKnives

      No, the Nightstalker is designed as a slicing blade. The grind is much higher, thinner and uses a 20 degree per side sharpening angle.

    • @TkellKnives
      @TkellKnives  Год назад +3

      Absolutely, the Nightstalker is a multi purpose blade where the 30 degree blades in this video are singularly designed. The Nightstalker is also my best selling blade by a significant margin. One isn’t better than the other at cutting its just a different cut.
