What concerns me is that these people don't seem to understand what marriage is. You can't choose your family over your spouse. Marriage is about two people becoming one. I'm not sure whether it's the cast members who decided to partake in this show and their families, or whether this is an indication of South Africans' understanding of marriage in general, but it is very much problematic. One of your primary responsibilities unto your wife, as a husband, is to protect your wife. It was frightening to see that other lady literally manhandle Gcina back into the house, and onto the couch.
