    SPOILER WARNING
I agree with your rating of the film. Was this a story that necessarily needed to be told? No. Did it expand on the lore of this universe? No. That being said, I did enjoy the movie for what it was. And I think there are two lessons in the movie that really hit home. This movie reminded me to not take the smaller things in life for granted. Something as basic as talking, eating at a restaurant, etc. I think this movie also showed that hard-times and similar struggles can really bring people together. Despite the main character being sarcastic and cynical, she showed kindness towards two children who were in hiding by bringing them a chocolate bar. While she was reluctant to be with the guy from England(maybe London), she ultimately gained a friendship she wouldn't have had otherwise. That friendship gave her the peace she needed before she died. I appreciated the film and honestly wouldn't have minded another hour watching it.

@@That_Guy_Craig That was beautifully said! What I need to understand that the true essence of A Quiet Place films, most uniquely Day One, is that a horrible or distressing situation where everyone is sharing in the pain or fear can bring out the best in people.
The last 20 min where Samira sacrifices her well being for the British guy and is that she’s content on dying in the city after see NYC and listening to music one more time is very inspiring!
