Bringing all the casts of Deadpool and Wolverine and the future movies coming up. Also, a Deadpool and Wolverine decorated choir performance of Like a Prayer and fire show! They really celebrated this movie. 3. RDJ as Doctor Doom shocked me. But I can personally see it working in the MCU. Share your thoughts, guys!

I'll keep saying. This is a movie teenagers especially Freshmen and Sophomores need to see. There is a lot of good lessons speead throughout the film. Have fun when working towards your goals because it won't feel like work at all at that point. When Riley shifted from trying to impress others to simply enjoying Hockey things changed for her. I'd also say another good lesson is to not place the value of popularity over true friends. True friends being the people who genuinely care about you and not because of a superficial status. When Riley had her anxiety attack, it wasn't the older girls who showed up for her. It was her two friends from school. Despite Riley being cold to them she was forgiven and that speaks volumes. And I agree, just like you. This reminded me a little of my own teenage years. So, I appreciate the accuracy of the movie's part for that.

SPOILER WARNING I agree with your rating of the film. Was this a story that necessarily needed to be told? No. Did it expand on the lore of this universe? No. That being said, I did enjoy the movie for what it was. And I think there are two lessons in the movie that really hit home. This movie reminded me to not take the smaller things in life for granted. Something as basic as talking, eating at a restaurant, etc. I think this movie also showed that hard-times and similar struggles can really bring people together. Despite the main character being sarcastic and cynical, she showed kindness towards two children who were in hiding by bringing them a chocolate bar. While she was reluctant to be with the guy from England(maybe London), she ultimately gained a friendship she wouldn't have had otherwise. That friendship gave her the peace she needed before she died. I appreciated the film and honestly wouldn't have minded another hour watching it.

I think the B- is a fair grade. Honestly this movie cannot hold up by itself without the first movie as context. The Thor and Loki bond the two brothers share in the movie was nice but it's obvious the writers wanted this to feel like an MCU movie in some areas. They played this movie too safe. I didn't like that each time a major character was about to die a family member saved them. It's like the movie was afraid to kill people off. The main antagonist was kind of a letdown and was defeated too easily and he lacked an interesting motivation. He wasn't even necessary. This should've been a movie with 100% Black Manta and Aquaman settling the score. It would've been cool if Manta and Aquaman reached some type of resolution since it's likely we'll never get a third installment. They could've had a deadly battle with Aquaman saying he regretted not saving the Manta's father. Maybe they could have had Manta start a new family of his own and have him conflict with revenge and starting a new life. That would've been great too but oh well. Manta failed to realize, him and his dad were hurting people for their own selfish gain. It was only a matter of time that karma would return to him. I would have liked if he had to face that reality.

I think this is my least favorite Star Wars live action series right now. I hope they improve a lot in season 2. My issue with the show is that the first 4 episodes felt like a chore to get through. I felt a lot of that content could have been combinded into 1 or 2 episodes. Episode 5 was without a doubt the best. But it makes you wonder, if Anakin was able to reach out to Ashoka, why didn't he guide Luke or Ben Solo in the sequels? It made no sense. Then all of the nonsense with Sabine. They did a whole reboot on her character. It was a random/odd choice. Baylon seems interesting as an antagonist, I wished he wasn't overshadowed by the night sisters and Thrawn. In terms of actors, Ezra and Thrawn were the best choices. I could buy the idea they were ripped straight out of the Rebels series. It was great.

The movie was decent but had odd moments. The movie works great when when Barry went back in time and interacting with his alternate timeline self. The opening scene where he was saving babies from a building was an odd choice for the writers to show off his speed/heroism. Michael Keaton Batman was awesome despite clearly seeming weaker than Ben Affleck's version. And Supergirl was an unexpected gem in the movie. I just found it strange they omitted Reverse Flash from Barry's origin. They left it open-ended but the movie heavily implies it was just a common thief that offed Ms. Allen. I give the movie like a C+ or B-. Good and weird moments sprinkled throughout the movie.

Great review… the movie had potential but drop the ball

Madam Web needs to appear in the next movie. It would also be cool to see different versions of Miles too outside of just Prowler Miles. Show gamer verse Miles or the Miles from the Comics. Gamer Miles lost his father and Miles from the comics lost his mom at one point too. It would be nice for them to talk to movie Miles about their losses and help him succeed where they failed.

The movie definitely had a message about one defying their destiny. Not just in the protagonist Miles Morales but also in the secondary antagonist Miguel Oherra (Spidey 2099). It is heavily implied in the movie that this spidey 2099 may actually be an inheritor, beings that go around the multiverse devouring spidermen. Perhaps he got to see other versions of himself and wanted a life similar to theirs which obviously caused the destruction of the world he replaced his counterpart in. I loved that this Miles Morales was never meant to become Spider-Man and the Miles from the other dimension where he became prowler was. I think it is a great message. That a hero can come from anywhere, that you don’t need societies predefined notions (canon) to become a hero. Miguel accepted his destiny, Miles on the other hand hasn’t. Perhaps Miles will change Miguel or they’ll at least have a better understanding of each other in the next movie.

I think it was wise of Sly to not be in the movie and allow it to focus on Creed's son. All the early successful Rocky movies had Creed as the main character driving the action. Rocky meant little without Creed being the antagonist/protagonist. The man that made Rocky!

Not gonna lie... I expected them to do more with this movie. It was fun but a lot of potential wasted.
