16' welded aluminum center console we switched prop from aluminum 10 3/8 x 13 which gave good top end but poor hole shot especially with any weight (extra person, full fuel, cargo) new aluminum 11 3/8 x 12 so far better but windy day so results still yet to be determined.
That's how a boat should plane.
