I have been looking for something to cover the shifting cables, fuel lines, etc that go to the motor. What did you use to cover all of that on this boat? It looks very clean!
haven't tried it yet. Will try full throttle at 5300 to 6300 RPM soon. follow and subscribe to see when I post it. I am also planning to create a table of RPM/speed(MPH)/GPH (MPG) gas usage or mile per gallon. Recently I tried 4500 RPM with 20 miles an hour on my Wellcraft 165 airslot fiberglass boat with just myself and some fishing gears.
Trim it out bro😁
How many OK`s does he say.
You made a nice video
Need a bigger engine for that size boat. Or you need to go down a pitch or two on your prop. Took forever to get on plane.
Agree you need to go down in pitch. This is doing your outboard no favours
19ft need atleast 90hp preferably 115
Honestly for that size boat with a 70 I feel like it did pretty good.. it’s and older boat, it works and it cost Less, win win

Rubber spiral pipe 2” - 4”
Use a suck vac hose about 1 1/4 dia or 1.5 vacuum hose black in color I found a old kitchen dry vac and cut the hose 6’ worked on mine
For and average 100 hp or less
how fast at 4000 rpms on that boat
25 miles an hour with 2 people no fishing gesrs
@@njfishing1 how fast wide open
What’s the hull size?
Boston whaler 19’
@njfising1 hey brother can you take a look of my post. I posted a 70hp with 16ft hull but it seems like your boat is faster than mine
Mako 19' CPX.
What do you get for top speed??
I Never gone beyond 25 miles an hour
@@njfishing1 it should be able to go faster then 25mph but your boat is heavy
@@edwardabrahamiii3742 I got a 70 for my 17 scout and it goes 40
Why not the Suzuki 70?
Too heavy for my 16 foot boat. I would go for the cheaper Suzuki (350 pounds) if it is lighter. Yamaha 70 weighs only 250 pounds.
@@njfishing1 That's exactly why I bought a Yamaha 70.
@@deere3321 burned a big hole in my wallet though
Why didnt you look up that one instead?
How much $$
U need motor, digital gauge MFD, throttle and shift cables and installed by dealerships in order to get Warrenty so u will looking at around $10k
Remote control box, and wires
that boat needs a 115, my 17 ft center console does 35 mph wide open with a 90 yamaha
I got a 16ft mirrocraft with a 2019 Yamaha 60 and it does 39 wide open
What was your top speed?

2 stroke way better
you should have a 150 instead of that 70
Cool Duck bull, that boat was struggling . A little more hp would have saved you fuel. IMO
Yes correct.
Yes
Yes agree
This boat is rated to a 115, they aren’t built to hold big engines, only little boats suited for estuarine and bay fishing, not for the ocean
