To access the battery on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class wagon, it is located in the rear hatch area. lift up the seat or hatch floor panels and then remove the cover on the battery located on the right side.

Hello. A few days ago, I bought a 2007 Mercedes E-Class W211 320 CDI T Model. It shows the “Electrical consumers switched off” error on the dashboard, and I can’t find the auxiliary battery. Under the right front pollen filter is the engine control unit, not the auxiliary battery like in other W211 models, and I can’t find it inside the car either. Where should I look?

Hi, thanks for checking out our channel. Some later W211's did not have aux batteries. It may be the main battery or battery control module that needs to be replaced.

I understand, there’s no battery control module next to the main battery in the trunk, but I did see a video earlier where it’s located under the plastic cover at the bottom of the windshield, near the front wiper mechanism. I’ll check it today, thank you for the quick response. I wish you all the best!
