Thank you for talking about going up a size for more volume. So many women are stuck on the size and refuse to size up even if the garment doesn't fit properly. Women have to remember that sizes are not standardized + no one sees the size, but everyone sees the fit.
Yes, pulling on your clothes isn't a good look. Also be willing to invest in alterations. It can make such a huge difference.

Congradulations, Karen! 🇺🇲 Years ago, husband became a citizen too, but has a dual citizenship as well.
Your outfit for going out and about is the way that i like to dress. I love a tee and skirt or slacks, I dont care for jeans, except as a skirt. I think that I had commented about that fringe jacket before. I love it! I had one, but I'm sorry that i had given it up because someone convinced me that i was too old to wear one!
You look good in red, but that style of dress in either color looks great on you. Black is dressier.
I have to agree that blouses and cardigans that button down the front are more versatile, especially the 3/4 sleeved ones. I had been looking at the white, detailed blouses with a little 3/4 puffed sleeve, but i had forgotten that i already had one! I did wear it partially opened with a tank under it and a little jacket on top. I had been admiring that white corset blouse on you! It is so flattering!
