Your videos bring me calm and joy during this rough and lonely pandemic times. Thank you!
That's one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to us. Thank you, CatSara.
I totally agree!
I love this channel man, Id love to come down and record some night time goings on.
Yeah, it's truly fascinating. It can be hard to get any work done in our household!
Game cameras in burrows are always exciting.. it's amazing the variety of wildlife that will utilize them. It's important real estate and why the creatures that can create them are so valuable
We are always astonished by the number and range of different creatures we see in this den. Everyone uses it.
These Texas Backyard Wildlife videos are good for my soul!! Thank you so much!
Thank you, Chantal. What a kind comment!
Great videos, you have a nice calm voice! today’s video was a great assortment of animals that live in the same den at different times.
Thank you, Michael.
Very underrated channel, I found you through the currently running stream of the 3 kits and mama gray fox, this content is soothing and lovely to watch. Thank you for this!
Thank you so much! We're glad you're enjoying it.
What a fantastic video! Loved every second!
Thank you, Angela! The tree stump den is a busy spot sometimes. We had a rattlesnake in there a couple of months ago.
I'm from the NE and the fox here are red, when I was in NM I saw a silver fox and was surprised because I wasn't aware that there was such a thing. Loved the racoon chatter, great video as usual!
I think gray foxes are found in the western US. In the east, it's red foxes. Gray foxes are interesting animals - only distantly related to red foxes, apparently, although they do look quite similar.
Nice !!
Absolutely amazing channel, thank you!
Thank you, Zami!
quels amours ils sont magnifiques merci a vous
Each video I see on this channel is more amazing than the last one. How do you do it?
Hey there, Harvardkarbodie - Good to hear from you. Our secret is that we have 5 acres and about 40 wired-in security cameras and occasionally they catch cool stuff. Most of the time they catch the wind blowing or a dove flying through, but every now and then...
All the baby skunks 😍
I can’t believe how cool this is!
The tree stump den can be like Grand Central Station sometimes. At the moment it's being checked out by some foxes (foxes bring their pups/kits to live there every year) and there are 2 field mice living in it. We hate to have to tell the mice that their days are numbered - they're awfully cute.
@@TexasBackyardWildlife but that leopard gecko takes the cake !
@@sonnyred840 The gecko was cool. We need to do more lizard videos.
Thank you 😊
This was an awesome video. Thanks for sharing it.
I came here because I was googling to see if Raccoons make dens at the base of tree stumps. I’m thinking one may be in my girl’s yard. She heard something one night under her carport went outside saw a raccoon run away. 3 weeks later she has big turds in the yard. They just got a new puppy a week ago and is worried about Raccoon feces and round worms in the yard.
An interesting problem. Raccoons pick a place to use as a latrine, and then they stick to it - at least for a few weeks. They're very organized. You could try pouring something like detergent on the turds in the yard, so they smell weird, and the raccoons will move their latrine to another spot. Of course you can't tell where that might be, but if you're lucky it will be away from the area the puppy can get to.
A real smorgasbord of critters coming through that stump 🤓
But Woo’Waa o that snake 🐍 And Scorpion 🦂.. Red on Yellow will Kill a fellow 5:30 .. But Red on Black is Ok Jack 😎👍
It's amazing what you see if you put a camera somewhere and wait for a year or so. That den is a busy little place.
How Fascinating! All those different species going about their business , passing through like tourist and maybe have a bite to eat on the go, whenever time and circumstances , allow that to be huh! Oh to be, or not to be~ : ) It's a question of appetite! Have a good day my goo people, Thank you @TexasBackyardWildlife for the your dedication to share this wonderspot with all of us... ( This should go viral, really!)
Thank you so much! This one might not go viral because lots of people don't like snakes, but we do think it's interesting. This is the den on the live stream.
Look like every family needs a home
Sir you could build 5-6 small boxes house in your back yard for them
We have quite a lot of boxes - about 4 boxes for birds and 4 other den spaces for the animals - but everyone really likes this particular den. At the moment there's a frog living there. Yesterday there was a little rat snake (the frog somehow avoided being eaten).
"Red on yellow lil a fellow" 😳😳
Love all your videos
Thank you!
The snake section also featured a cricket.
We should have mentioned insects and arthropods. We see lots of crickets in there, and daddy-long-legs spiders, and there was a big scorpion in there about 3 or 4 days ago. We really need to some videos about bugs.
4:15 Racoon sounds like Robot
Star Wars
Hahaha 🤣🤣🤣
Nice video man, add a longer title perhaps...underground wild life...so more people can view it.
Thanks for the suggestion. We will do that in future.
Why only a brief glimpse of the ringtail?
You're right. It's very brief. I think that was all we got - I know Dan would have included more if we'd had it. We have other ringtail videos but we don't often catch them in close-ups.
1 question, this recording was during a week/ months/ 2 months?
It is taken from a couple of years of recordings.
