Here is my review of the new 2013 Lego Star Wars RANCOR PIT set 75005.
This set is recommended for ages 8-14 and contains 380 pieces.
It comes with 4 minifigures
Rancor
Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight
Malakili (Rancor Keeper)
Gamarrean Guard
The Rancor mini figure is awesome! It has moveable claws, arms and jaws. However, the legs do not move.
The Jabba's Palace Lego Star Wars Set 9516 can be mounted on top of the Rancor Pit for additional fun. However, the tower cannot be connected and the Rancor Pit gate is not able to rise with Jabba's Palace connected.
The set only contains 380 pieces and is fairly easy to construct. It did not take too long.
