Good review. I’ll be adding a few of these to my current Blink system which I fitted a few months ago has been great and worked flawlessly so far.
The camera is so so, but the review quality is amazing. thank you so much! great job man
Great review, thorough and to the point. You gained a new sub.
Awesome review, LH. I"m 14 cameras deep into Blink so I might pull the trigger on this. But I will wait to see you review other wired floodlights.
Chris Lindsay...Thanks for watching!
i was wondering does the bezel of the camera attached to the flooded lights can you move it all the way to the right? in cases for location that are not pointing straight ahead?
I'm impressed by the notification speed.
Anyway once again Great review.
Salute from Italy
I purchased 4 Outdoor Solar cams and 1 Doorbell Battery powered cam. In only 2 weeks the Cameras were So Bad I returned them All ! To say they are POS is an Under Statement! I should have listen to you. I will not make that mistake again! Thanks for All your Awesome Videos!
Thanks for sharing your experience and thanks for watching.
@Manny Rosales I learned my lesson!
Did you purchase the cameras from blink?
@@camranh_royal Yes
Great video man very informative appreciate it
Thank you for the review, I'm more likely to purchase this floodlight camera.
Anxiously awaiting the floodlight camera comparison - and suggestions for better quality recording
Appreciate your videos!
Great review. Thanks.
Reggie...Thanks for watching!
What is the name brand of the junction box used and where did you buy it
Great review
Hello sir , can you powered this with solar panel .. I bought the wired floodlight and have solar panel but I don’t know how to connect them together .
I have 3 Battery operated cameras, they have never failed me, However I have bought 2 of the Hardwired cameras in feb. , now 5 months later a both cameras are no longer working, and yes Ive gone down the check list they offer, unplug the cameras for a short period and re plug them in and they will record for a short time, then dead..... Here in Texas we never had spring... straight to summer, very hot summer... Could heat be the problem? Im looking for another system to install now... can't keep wasting time on them, BTW the lights are fantastic
Do the lights come on automatically with movement how do I get them to turn on manually without the phone?
Have you had time to review the lorex 2k floodlight? I have the lorex 1080p woeks good but I was wondering if it was worth upgrading to the new model for the additional $100 price difference.
Lorex is from chyyyyna (security risks and you sponsor their tech theft)
Very happy with this camera. A question though: It has an alarm, yet I cant figure out how to set the alarm to sound when the motion is triggered. Any ideas?
The siren is only a manual trigger
This is an excellent video. I really appreciate all the detail. However, I came here looking for a tip on how to get it online with the app. I'm struggling with that. The green light is steady, blue is blinking. However, it will not sync on my phone.
Do the lights work without WiFi? I understand the camera needs WiFi & the sync box, but will the lights work? I want to replace a wired light on a deck.
Very nice review video
That's sick
U did a great job here!! Awesome review 👏 🎉
Hi friend, whats the diameter of that junction box?
I really like it, and I like that the Blink software is much easier to use than Ring. You can add up to 10 cameras to module 2 modules, and they are super easy to add, I love that Blink systems integrate easily with each other. I do security setup for people's homes for a living, and while you said Blink was left behind, I disagree, Blink setup and software are made so anyone can install it, even the elderly or a novice to the tech world. It is not complicated and anyone can do it. It is simple to use, people often think because it is so easy to use that it's not as good as other systems. Generally, consumers want their cameras set with motion at 20 feet, they want an easy system to use, and 100 dollars a year for security is pretty inexpensive. An average of $8.34 per month is very affordable for most people.
I see your comment in all blink video @onezenman9336
2 months ago this is just posted how your comment comes first of all. Blink is simply a waste of money. not worth it , if can say you have 1000 blink camera asset but when it comes action it won't record event, but give useless notification a lot.
@@Ajith-JohnDwhat
I already told you Blink is simply a waste of money. not worth it okay.
@onezenman9336 your telling lies.
We don't even like blink camera's instead we have eufy camera's and arlo camera's for security and eufy has allot of camera's to choose from so Next week Saturday buy eufy camera's.
Could you review the ZOSI camera ? It's really cheap with good specs
I did review it a while back.. their 4K NVR system - ruclips.net/video/YNIN8JaePNk/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/VtosvhZBM5o/видео.html
anyone no if this camera has been updated and now has motion zone options?
Can I assume that the app is the only way to turn the floodlights on without the camera? I would be replacing a switched floodlight only setup that we use a lot. Thanks
You can control the lights via voice using Alexa.
Is there a setting to keep the fud lights going to dust.
There is NO ip rating, it is not waterproof, its "weather resistant" which is the lowest rating for resistance. Do not install it under an eave, the lights will fill with water, they do not drain, the camera ceases to work. Mine lasted less than 3 weeks. Any water intrusion voids the warranty.
Yes your comment is correct but we have eufy and arlo and blink but our blink camera's can't see clearly that is the problem of our blink camera's.
Thank you for sharing this. I had the same issue with my ring floodlight. All these cameras are junk
Thank you
Interesting that grandfathered in no longer means grandfathered. So those that should be grandfathered now have exceptions? I have 2 blink battery doorbells and 2 outside cameras. When Reolink comes out with a battery doorbell …I’m gone. I have 3 Eufy’s….but they too have been getting worse…and Ring along with Blink still in 1080 ….what’s with that? GREAT REVIEW as always!
We still get the free cloud recordings (7200 secs.) just no person detection...
How do i flip the image
Is it normal that the light is so much bigger than the junction box? And doesn't evenly match up?
Nice video! I don't mind not getting the person detection. I'll stick with the all motion.
If you put it as all motion you will get to many notifications so put it in the person detection tomorrow
Why doesn't mine have the photo capture option?
💐👍👏💐. Thank you.
You are most welcome
Anyone having issues. After months working fine, today i try to do a live view and it keeps loading. I did a reset, uninstall and install, issue still persist
The upfront cost is very good but paying monthly for what eufy, reolink and others do for free is not going to get me to buy one 😞
Sticking to eufy
My thought too, I had to buy another sync module and USB card to capture video clips, but has to be done from computer... Now they don't work at all...
I watched your video to see if your camera has the same problem as mine. However you did not test the max motion sensitivity with the person detection off so it did not help us that dont have the subscription in that area. My camera has a detection of about 12=15ft without person detection
Will the light turn on automatically when it detects movement or people?
Yes, at night.
@@LifeHackster thank you 🙏🏽
I know your backyard better than mine.
:)
No you don’t
Why so many companies still behind on Wi-Fi chip. No Wi-Fi AC at least.
I just bought one of these things and installed it. I can't get the light to turn on with motion. They work on manual no issues, and the camera is clear and records. I have saved the settings on and off multiple times. Still won't turn on with motion.
I have the same issue. Did you ever fix this?
@theantman3788 Yeah, I got it fixed. Floodlights turning on via motion only occurs once the photocell sees it get dark enough to need the light. It works as intended when it's night out. I can override the photocell via voice command with Alexa if needed.
@@joeydover I have the same problem with two of these. What do you mean by "override the photocell"?
Does this camera do 24 hour setting?
Unfortunately, No.
Rin floodlights vs blain floodlights
From saudi 👍
Thank u for saving me money
Jonathan Nunez...Thanks for watching!
I recognize that back yard (from other vids) How about trying the camera with you wrapped in a mylar sheet.....just for fun.... Lawson
Just an FYI, the Motion Zones have been added this week !
Cool.. thanks for the info.
@@LifeHackster You're welcome. Its a bummer that even with this setting, the motion detection is so much crappy on these units. Mine doesn't capture motion at all, or close to. The light barely ever turn on by itself at night, and it barely catches moving things. It doesn't capture a car parking in the driveway, or a delivery guy passing by ±10 feet from the camera.
Just installed mine today. The flood light does not automatically come on when there is motion. I have to manually turn it on and off. The camera detects motion and records, but light does not. Does anyone else have this issue?
I have the same problem with two of these I installed 7/8/23.
Is this an issue or the way it is supposed to work? I need the lights to come on with motion.
After a couple of firmware updates over the last few months, these are working better for me. Now they detect motion and turn on the floodlights like I expected when I bought them.
Flood light won’t work, is there any reason why it’s not?
Not bad
The wyze cam spotlights look good.. opps i mean blink... yeah blink and there goes your money ! skip....
The hd color is way better than ring flood light 199.99
Nowadays resolution more than 1080 P is not stable. only 1080 p on a blink camera with 1080p stable and smooth that’s why ring does not have 2 k resolution cameras
Yes it’s is a water resistant
Displaying a 1080p video at 720p isn’t very helpful lol
LOL try changing RUclips's video settings in your phone to 4K or watch it in your computer because this video is in 4K.
Not worth the price of changing batteries ever month.
Don't waste your money on any Blinks cameras
..or better don't waste on any commie chynese branded security system
@@camranh_royal everything is made in "chyna" Joey good luck with that
Why
@@kcjamesiii doesn't have that many features and the motion detection sucks
@hmbv1591 yea I'm trying to find a doorbell and a couple cameras without breaking the bank. Any suggestions? I just hate buying nest or eufy for that price and it breaks or sucks
Mine has turned out being junk after almost a year. Camera goes offline for no reason and light won't work when it does that. Live view doesn't work reliably. All other cameras have no problems. The flood Camera is not worth wasting time or security on. Looking to switch to a different system because of this.
I just want a flood light that will turn on and off at dusk and dawn. Is 2600 lumen a lot for light bill?
