- We almost lost our crop, but something saved us... Watch this video to find out what prevented us from losing our vegetables!
We farm over 400 acres here in north east Pennsylvania, but 80 of those acres are strictly vegetables. Come take a look and see how our family works together to bring in the harvest!

We like it when you tell us the variety of the vegetables you are picking.
The sound of the peppers being pulled off the plant is most satisfying.... so a wagon of peppers is my choice 😀
I love to hear the sound of peppers pulled off...and seeing u guys happy with what u r doing..🤩🤩🤩
And I forgot to mention, I love this channel. Its pure, no extra editing and no music. Just keep it the way it is.
Your family is awesome. You're living the way I grew up. We didn't have a huge veggie farm but my grandfather had a huge garden and we had one on our small standard bred horse farm. I really enjoy seeing your family work, and eat together. Thanks for sharing life with the world
I love the sound of the peppers being picked but I love watching yall harvesting all of it
Your Dad is so cool. My dad is cool as well. I missed him❤❤
He’s so funny 😂 sorry for the loss of your Father
Really like how you tell us the variety of each crop. I grow (small farming) veg in NS, Canada and although the zone is different, the seasons are fairly the same and i can see your process and learn A LOT from your channel.
Business planning, variety, transplanting, seedling starters, how/when/why your planting what your planting.
There are lots of cash crop farmers on RUclips but you re the first commercial Veg operation that mimics where i grow. Awesome channel, awesome content, awesome people.
Joel: The peppers, the colour is beautiful and i can smell the wagon from here.
I grow in NS too and we had NO rain all season so for the first time in 50 years I am planning to irrigate next year. Crop failures r us so no choice. :-(
@@stepstepchachacha I invested in drop irrigation on two of my plots and bought some used rainbird 65PJ heads i can run from a 1" pump for sweet corn....profit is slim but it's an investment and you have to look at it like that.
@@ruyguy8888 I hear you but climate change seems to be accelerating and I fear for the next generation ol farmers in NS. To achieve food security for our region we need more land to be planted, every acre to be productive AND farming must be a viable and sustainable option for making a living. Costs will continue to rise if seasonal droughts are the new normal. With no rainfall farmers will have to buy water as well as pipes/ pumps etc. It's a downward spiral. Maybe silos should be matched by giant cisterns to store hurricane floodwaters to keep fields green through the growing season, but capture and storage will cost money too. Maybe I'm over-thinking.
That’s awesome you added the end of the day meal peek I love it. Your dad had me laughing so hard I started choking. Great times along with great content make the vids that much better. Keep up the great work!
Enjoyed watching guys. You must pick a huge amount of vegetables every year. Thanks for sharing a great show
You should loop an 8 hour video of just that sound of the snap of peppers being picked and the rustle of the leaves as a sleep aid....SOOOOO soothing...
Wagon load of anything, I just enjoy watching you harvest everything. My favorite is watching you plant on that machine where you all sit in the back. So interesting to watch.
I can grow ears in my corn but I just can't seem to get eyes to grow on my peppers. (buhdum bum) 80 acres of beautiful veg!! I wish there was a farm market like yours near me. How do you all keep busy in snowy winter?
So nice to see a happy family working, laughing and enjoying life together.
I so agree! I wish my family didnt all move away in so many different directions.
You know what we would love to see a wagon full of peas, but I guess we will have to wait until next year so we can share in your joy of picking peas
Haha... No
I just picked and shelled about 10 kg from a 7 meter row in my home garden.
Ahhhhh the memories from when we grew 20 acres of them a season
" They want what they can't have"....isn't that the problem with society? :)
Every dad's scene ... I laugh so loud 😂😂😂 ..sooo entertaining
Love from indonesia
Picking pails of peppers. What content y'all gonna make after the frost wipes out the picking.
just know the intro is best ever love hearing it
The ladies need a camera so we can see what they are up to. Love all y’all’s videos. Such a awesome family and so inspirational!!keep up the good work!!🇺🇸🇺🇸

may I know what kind of pepper is that.
Who spiked dads coffee with Sentrum Silver? He's all juiced up today. 😁Also do you grow garlic, onions and potatoes? What goes bad first on the plant after a frost? Peppers or tomatoes?
I’m in New Zealand. And I love watching your harvest as we are just planting now, or soon. Great to watch the harvest before it comes. Love yo you guys and your family.
That is a hard question Joel but I’m going to say peppers because of all their different shapes and colors. Now if I could only eat one it would be tomatoes. Bye bye.
Your family is so cute I have never been more inspired to have a home veggie garden
7:10 your dad is too much haha. love the veggie boys!
yeah then comes back super energized lol
again another great video, great job very educational, and entertaining, the part with your dad was funny, we enjoy it all, you say you have weeds in your peppers but look at all the peppers you get
john perry I find the weeds protected my veg from blazing sun and kept the ground covered. I appreciate the weeds for the organic matter they provide as well. So I'm ok with them and usually they provide flowers for the native pollinators also. Love this family, so hard working and work as a team. 👍🌱🍅
💓WOW Joel & his dad are like two peas in a pod💓
I really think you Dad was too close to the Basil for too long today.
Andrew, I am in awe at the massive productivity of your plants. Please take a minute to educate us on the way you are able to have such a lush crop even in the late Fall!
A mixed flatbed load of cucumbers, tomatoes and eggplants. Make Baba Ganoush, a salad of tomatoes, cukes, romaine lettuce and mayo. MMMMMmmmm
Very addicting. Not sure why I watch this as I'm not a farmer, and I don't need to know how to grow vegetables. Yet, I've watched every video, many twice. I think it's the wholesomeness and great attitude of your wonderful family. And you're the perfect host. Not sure why, but I can't wait for the next video. HAHA. BTW, I'm also a subscriber.
Yeah!!!🤓 I am so happy you guys made it through the frost! You have such lovely vegetables that we are rooting for a great harvest a little longer!
Half and half! Peppers and tomatoes!! 😉
Eveyone make sure and wash your hands after pepper picking Hots
I Love them ALL!!!!! Ur veggies are like rainbows 🌈🌈🌈🌈 Wish I was there picking along side u guys!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😋😋😋😋
Not sure how I got here but apparently I enjoy watching veggie farming. Got to be honest the wagon of peppers had me mesmerized for a minute. Lol

Both I love the sight of you guys picking all types of peppera and tomatoes😍 it would also be nice to hear joel's stories from time to time❤️
So beautiful to watch picking those pretty red cherry peppers...love it
That’s it. Joel’s adopted. Have you seen his mom and dad? Spittin’ image. 😂
Dad's been very active today. Lots of love from the Philippines. hahaha.
I'm a lefty too but both my parents are righty ☺☺☺☺☺
I'm a lefty too and so is my youngest brother but everyone else is righty
I like seeing full wagon loads of everything...
neither a full wagon of peppers or a full wagon of tomatoes i'm still inlove with with these two.🥰🥰 it feels so satisfying when you harvest them...
PaulaWhiteman I love to see you all working as a family. A loving family stays together. I love the way daddy behaves. ✌😄🇬🇩
You er so blessed. Owner of green fields, eating healthy, having skilful grandma and sucha lovely dad. Joyful family nd great bond. Uncountable blessings are around you, honestly. I'm so happy to see here on channel and so happy how you are blessed.
Sure glad that the smoke has done some good for the veggies. As to Joel’s question. I love to see the peppers for their different size, shapes and colors, but, I prefer to eat and can the tomatoes. Another great video.
Lol, the head of the family is really silly goofy! Good to see cause it keep the family together and mentally healthy
I really like seeing a wagon load of tomatoes.
Tell that lazy lefty the crowd prefers PEPPERS 🌶
All your veg looks amazing ,the veg we get from the shops in Scotland looks fek all like you're stuff 😎
I heard that planting basil near tomatoes makes the tomatoes tastier--is this true?
The lefty jokes just keep getting better. 😂👍🏼
Терпіти не можу болгарський перець на смак, а ти ще й тер ним ааааааааа. А в іншому ви круті, удачі вам )
Your Dad is very cool and funny😆😆
Just adorable. Everything!
I am just amazed that you guys let these tomato plants just lay there on the ground and they still produce so dang good. I mean it goes against everything taught about pruning a tomato plant and staking it up. I'm just impressed.
Love your videos and especially when y'all harvest peppers & tomatoes!! Keep up the good work!!
I love all of the veggies that you pick, however my favorite would be the tomatoes. It amazes me that you all are out there every day picking and picking, but there is always more on the vines. I would be in “heaven” if I lived close by and could stop in to shop on a regular basis. Interacting with your wonderful family would also be a treat!
Joel.....none of the two....I like egg plant..a whole wagon full
Since the color of peppers can be red or green - how do you know they are ready to pick? Do you pick a plant clean or leave some that need to ripen / mature? I like you channel and learn a lot about vegetables - keep up the good work. Be nice to the old man - if he gets hurt, you get to do his work!
The peppers can be harvested at any time. The size is what we look for. We leave an early planting alone so we can have plenty of Red peppers. Green bell turn to Red Bell.
@@theveggieboys yep and the taste of the bells changes per colour
Do you grow any Red deuce tomato?
The long green hots are MINE all mine....
Ha ha ha ha ..
I like all of what you do and I wouldn't know where to begin telling you how much I like all of you. Great channel!
How about a truck load of peas? :-)
Ohhh a funny guy 😉
Love these harvest videos keep em coming
Did you ever think in a million years that there would be this many people interested in watching you pick vegetables???😂 it’s hillbilly asmr
Fantastic! I love the family angle and the great work ethic, comedy. I miss the north; alas, I now live in Louisiana where I cannot keep one tomato plant growing without bugs!!!!
Definatly like seeing peppers best. And hearing the snap when picking peppers! Like seeing the tomatoes 2nd best!!!
What does grandma and mom do with the leftover green tomatoes? What do they make with them besides fried green tomatoes? I have almost a half bushel that I don't know what to do with them!!! I already made Salsa Verde. Please Please suggestions.
Just found your channel and am loving you guys! What happens during the winter? I hope to see videos then too!
I love watching your videos your family is so hard working, and your dad is so cool and funny.. i like the sounds when you pick the veggies... i like seeing both tomatoes and peppers full baskets... love from Bluefield, Virginia
Any harvest is good!! But tomatoes seems heavy and more satisfying Lol 😂
Personally, I love the tomatoes and the peppers. Either is fun to watch. You're over 20K subscribers! That's awesome.
I’m really liking that wagon load of tomatoes, cuz some were mine! 😂 And where were my goggly eyes?! 😜 You guts are a hoot!! Loved this!! 🥰🥰
Whoa whoa whoa
7:09 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Does the veggie farm save their own seeds for planting ?
Sir VEGGIE BOY, can you shout out my vlog Phelmar P. magtawan Expat modern homesteader. Just an active fan to your vlog. I know your vlog will explode not long from now. Kudos.
What kind of peppers are those long ones you all where picking the BIG FAT LONG ONES THAT YOU TOOK A BITE OUT OF. I never caught the name on the video
Just can't say enough good things about your videos. Thank you for you and your family. ps: to Joel, a full trailer of tomatoes remind me of a great Italian restaurant.
No more chocolate for your dad!!! Lol... Good to see everyone having fun!!

Dad was in a great mood today e? Loved it...and love seeing both tomatoes and peppers side by side....specially the sound of pepper snap out of its tree....
Your dad is so dramatic!!!!!! It's the way he fell off when he reached the tree! Oh, your harvest is really awesome!
You dad HAPPY father and lot of energy for he age. Strong workerolic man. Same as you guys also amazing. FROM SAIPAN CMNI MARIANAS NEAR GUAM.
best farming channel i'm subscribed to. I'm learning a lot from yall and taking notes as i'm planning on starting my own farm in the next 2 years. keep this great content coming! from North Georgia ✌🏼
I live just north of Binghamton NY. We've had three night of hard frost ending our gardening for the year, thankfully ,I'm so done canning tomatoes for this year . Glad you haven't got the freezes yet.
SANA ALL....please shout out one time....im from philippines... Ilove your dad doing that dancing
Question once the seasons over for each field do you put them back as compost. From MAXINE CLARK FORM PERTH WA 🖐️.
Which seeds are you using of tamato and paper.. I need these seeds
My first time to see that kind of snake 🐍. It looks like a SNAKE GOURD vegetable, exactly the same colour and patterns. Is that poisonous? What kind of snake 🐍 is that? Curious here.
Andrew - the reason I shop at the Farmers' Markets in my area is because of my ability to Not grow my own. If you saw my veggie garden you would tell be to UNSubscribe. Joel - I like both Tomatoes & Bell Peppers; but I vote for a wagon load of Tomatoes, as I use tomatoes everyday and bell peppers only twice a week. 🚜🐄 🌽🍅🍇 🍎 🐄 🚜
Super video
Your videos are the first ones I watch in the morning because they get me in a happy mood!

I love watching your videos. Keep them coming please!
new here thank you for mentioning varieties for us.
😲😲 🤭🤣🤣Pops fell off the wagon! I would have probably moved out of the country after snake 🐍 sighting so close to home .You guys are quite chilled
my home has no dangerous reptiles or anything to be honest.Never seen anything outside reptile park!!Its heartwarming seeing all your interactions with Pops brings back whole lot of good memories of the past..as long as it’s Joel on the receiving end and not I.
I prefer to see a full wagon of anything because it's all gorgeous :)
