The art I here is incredible. The main character is definitely based on Benedict Wong. Such a beautiful book.

We need a review!
1. Great art.
2. Story isn't that detailed, Things happen that aren't explained but not in a confusing way.
3. It's 11 issues but reads super fast, more like 6 issues.
Read this during the floppy run. Really liked it! Wouldn’t mind a sequel or continuation but doesn’t necessarily need it either.
You always seem to struggle to describe the size of these and miss the obvious comparison: they're the same as Absolutes -- they just don't come with a slipcase.

The low price of these big big indie books is always such a stark contrast to how much Marvel & DC are charging for their big books these days. This one is well worth the money!

This is a book that deserves way more attention. A story realistically told which pulls no punches. The art is great ; reminiscent of Steve Dillon only with more subtleties. The ending felt rushed to me. A treasure. Worth buying and having.
Arriving on Monday for me. Excited to read it. I put off buying it as was wondering if such a quick read was worth the money. But I saw a break down on another channel about how to pace reading the panels based on size etc. Didn't know about that sort of thing ha ha. So picked up a copy as the art is amazing and I am sure I can linger longer on the pages.
I love Rick Remender comics! Been following his stuff since Strange Girl and Fear Agent. I actually skipped buying this in issues because I wasn't sold on the art even though you seem to have liked it. I will definitely give it a shot now that it's all collected.
I love Remender as well, and IMO the art was the best part of this series, worth getting in the oversized format. It’s so beautiful.

Why did Image give Righteous the oversized deluxe treatment? I think it’s awesome but curious why this series when others get the std hardcover like department of truth, saga, etc
