Track: Storms Never Last (Robby Turner - Steel Country) Audio: Overdubbed using Pro Tools - Franklin SD-10 into Nashville 112 (SM57) Video: Recording and editing in iMovie
One of my most favorite songs in the world and my husband's Uncle Bobby played and sounded so much like Waylon.. I was blessed to get to sing this with him one evening last year at our local Opry House...It touched my heart to get to sing it with him and this year just a week or so ago he passed away.. I didn't get that performance on tape... and Now will only have it in my memory and will cheish it always.. ... one of the most Beautiful Steel performances of the song I've ever heard... God Bless~
I just found you. Reaally nice. I'm such a fan of the PSG that I miss it in today's country music. That's why the new 'stuff' sounds so blank and dead. No feeling. Feeling that only a steel can give.Judy/Iowa/Ms Kitty
Hello Jonathan.. I met you when I was working with you dad. You had just started learning the "steel". GREAT job and good luck with you career. Tell John Hello. Leslie Johnson
Oh my kiddo! Its apparent that someone in your family has influenced you. Not many people (even at my age) appreciate the finer sound of western swing. . Much less kids of your age! I just started learning the steel about a year ago. Its a long road for me but wow! You make it look easy! Great tone.
Jonathan, I really like your style of play. You adhere closely to the original melody with very clean playing and not a lot of "whine" of some of the great, but older style of play. Do you by any chance have any tabs for your songs? Thanks.

I dont. I am not even sure I could play the song the same way twice. 🙂
Summertime
Is there anyway to get the tabs for this song.
I don't have any tab, sorry.
***OK***
Nothing like a steal pedal guitar, if there's no steal it's not real country. Thanks
Waylon’s good but Dr. hook better
