Very cool, Nice work! Ill be getting a OEM hard top for my 2 dr JK soon. Def doing this track system for both sides. I will integrate rubber or nylon between the jerry can and holder. Offroad clanks and clunks drive me nuts lol.
i am interested in how well this has held up for you since you have had an opportunity to try it out in different conditions. i am concerned that without a piece of support on the inside your roof material would not be able to take the stress and eventually start to crack. i think even thin aluminum flat bar would be sufficient. take care.

I really like this idea. Have you traveled with a full can in the mount yet? How about on bumpy dirt roads?
I really like this build but needs solution for theft. Any idea?
