Hello Sandra. That’s how the houses are built here except apartment buildings. Yes you can rent the basement depending on the type you have. Most have separate doors while some don’t. So if you want to rent it is better you go for the basement that have separate doors from the main building. @@zinnyjunscripted Sure , the Down payment is 5% of the first $500,000, and 10% of the the balance in this case 10% of $250,000. Anything aster $1,000,000 is 20%. Congratulations!
