What a finale, guys. What a finale. So this what it feels like to see your OTP become canon right before your eyes. This is what it feels like and I fucking can't even ajshgakjgh. Hannigram's dark, twisted and absolutely beautiful love story has left its mark on me and the scars will remain forever. I'm HOPING for a 4th season of course, but I won't say I'll be displeased if they choose to end it here because let's be honest - that ending was a masterpiece. They became one, Will finally gave in to Hannibal and accepted his true self, and Hannibal got what he always wanted, his beautiful, cunning boy in his arms, fully at peace with himself. And then they lived happily ever after as murder husbands.
This video is a desperate vent and I'm sorry it looks so shitty, I didn't want any crazy colouring and I was too busy crying to create neat effects so it sort of just made itself. Next video will probably be a bit more exciting. c:

That end of the finale was one of the most intensely intimate things I have ever seen and I can't believe I got to actually watch it. So beautiful.

At the beginning of the series Will threatened her + Hannibal told her in person that he was going to eat her... Bedelia physically unable to cut in the leg. Not to mention how to cook it.
We were shown the scene when will and Hannibal arrived in the house.The next scene was when came Francis... During this time they could think about "a plan to escape".
***** Bedelia would have lost too much blood. Without anesthesia, she would have died. Physically impossible with one leg to cook... I mean, she was in no condition to do it.
You care about Will? Hannibal was shot in the stomach, but he lashed out at Francis as if he is in order. And Will... Him just pierced the cheek (it is strange that he spoke without problems) and shoulder.

compass696 Thank you! I get so irritated with the "it's not romantic" brigade, as if a physical romance between Hannibal and Will would be somehow DIRTY or DIMINISH their relationship. No one thinks Mulder/Scully of X-Files consummating their feelings for each other cheapened their love. I only started to ship hannigram yesterday, after I've already seen the whole series. NOW I AM DOOMED TO WATCH IT ALL AGAIN
There is just absolutely no love like this any where else. There is no movie or show that can ever portray this kind of love. A love so fucking desperate. They crossed lines together... Lines that people can't normally share. And crossing theses line, I can't imagine not feeling closer to someone on a level so deep it can't even be described. So fucking desperate to understand and the need- the need is so apparent. The tension... It can't even be described as just a sexual tension. It's as if they couldn't be closer. There is a need...a want you can feel to be "one". The tempt and the want for something so out of this world and unexplainable that not even the most observant, eloquent poet could describe. That hug...fucking wow. That hug WASNT just a hug. I have never felt SO much passion in just a hug. There was so much love and admiration and understanding and need. They knew that this was it, that it had to end there. right there, together. i have never witnessed anything like that.
None of my friends understand why I like this show. They just don't see the horribly tragic beautiful of this show. The filmography, the script, the acting. Everything was so intricate and specific and so....APARRENT! There has never been a show that has made me FEEL so much out of it. Especially never anything like that. I wish I could gush more over my adoration of this show but I'd just start babbling. I just-...thank you for this video. I was so overcome with a multitude of emotions I just started crying. I can't even grasp all that I am feeling. Thank you thank you thank you.
I 100% agree, that embrace spoke like a thousand words, and had its own dialogue I mean THEIR BODY LANGUAGE IN THIS OMG! YOU COULD EASILY JUST READ WHAT THEY WEREN'T SAYING! At first Hannibal's so incredibly delicate and gentle in his touch, tugging hesitantly at Will's shirt because he doesn't know if Will is going to reject him again (feels like I'm writing fanfiction now but omg I keep forgetting it's fucking canon), and then Will - who has always been passive and never shown if he actually likes this sort of physical contact - initiates the embrace and pulls himself closer to Hannibal, and when Will's face hits Hannibal's shoulder you see the look on Hanni's face and just think - there. It's orgasmic, the expression of a man who finally gets the one thing he's ever desired in his whole life. Will is his, not any longer by force but by Will's own choice. And he revels in it and puts his head back and then commits to it fully by doing a little downward swoop and finally nuzzling into Will's neck. Idek why I bother to live anymore, really.

I don't know how many times I've watched this already but MANY okay? I love this video so muuuch * cries * It's so peaceful and hauntingly beautiful. 0:19 is one of my favorite moments cause that "yes"voiceover and that look in Hannibal's eyes like he is surprised and mesmerized when he really sees Will for the first time. Like that smile then you can see how it just hits him like woah I have never seen such a beautiful mind or had this instant overwhemling curiosity and pull toward a person before. 0:28 is next moment that makes me wanna shoot myself.. in a good way ^^ Ache for him ;_______; And when the singing starts aahh it's so magical. 0:45 is so cute and amazing and 0:47 playful and they are too adorable!!!!!!!!! 1:18-1:24 literally takes my breath away. Everytime I watch this it makes me
sad and also soothes my soul at the same time.They both are incomplete without each other.The understanding , subtly declared love for each other , longing to be together not seen in any other couples on a show. I feel so lucky that I could experience such a beautifully twisted and fascinating relationship on TV .This video is a perfect tribute to this amazing characters . I've heard only good things about this series and soooo many positive remarks on the main pairing of Will/Hannibal, most of them wanting so so so bad for them to be cannon. I read the description before watching and maaaan, don't know much about this since I haven't watched even one episode yet but DANG. This video? Okay... Um... WOW. I swear, tears fell from my eyes. I dunno what it was. (Probably this whole thing.) The music was so...melancholy? I HAVE NO IDEA. I just ended up crying. Didn't even realize til I felt my cheeks getting wet. The tone of this was just perfect for the scenes and just... just... something about these two gives me the words "raw" and "passionate" and "bloody meant for each other" (cos of that intimate scene with the blood... yeah this was no pun intended HA). Thank you for making this. As someone who is excited and anxious to start watching this show, this video has made me wanna watch it even more. (I don't even care about the spoilers, this was pure ART).
This made me so happy, honestly. Says something about this ship when an outsider starts to cry about it. Ahh, I envy you to experience it for the first time, you have an epic, dysfunctional, sick, meant-to-be love story ahead of you. The first scene I used in this vid you actually see the *_exact_* moment where Hannibal falls for Will (bless Mads' acting) and from there on he's changed.

I'm happy my feelings were conveyed in this as clearly as you describe, I already knew when opening Vegas I was gonna keep this as simple and clean as possible, no effects or manips to distract - just them. And I was afraid people were gonna think the song was weird to combine with, um well, brutal murder, blood and gore (it's like, weirdly romantic in the show tho ya feel) but I had had it in my head for these two for a long, loooong time and it was just too perfect.

+lightningxdisaster: Meh, that embrace was far more intimate than kissing. Will is straight (according to Fuller) so kissing might be weird for him but their bond and their love transcends sexuality. And although this is a sad ending it's also incredibly poetic. We knew Hannibal was in love with Will but it's really at this point in time that Will shows he reciprocates his feelings by deciding he doesn't want to live without him. Their relationship is so dark, co-dependent and twisted but absolutely beautiful at the same time!
Mie R I do appreciate the embrace and I guess it's just a difference of opinion because towards the end Will seemed to be completely in love with Hannibal too so it would not be out of place for something like that to happen and i'd think that'd be more meaningful then just a hug but the hug was also powerful, their body language to me wwas saying "OOOH IMA KISS YOUR FACE IDC IF YOU HAVE BLOOD ALL OVER YOUR MOUTH" but maybe that's just me :P
+lightningxdisaster Hugs can be boring but this was truly an embrace. Leaning their heads together - Will's head resting on Hannibal's chest. It's been a while since I've seen such an intimate scene in a TV show. It's telling that non-shippers have pointed out (sometimes in a derogatory way) that they thought they were about to kiss. And I agree a kiss wouldn't have HURT (:D) and I'm sure we'll be getting fanfic versions where they do kiss here but I don't believe it was necessary to crystallise their feelings for one another.

But, when he tightened his arm around Hannibal before pushing himself and Hannibal off the cliff together, the way I see it, there was some good left in Will that made him want to put an end to the beast inside him and the devil that inspired it. And he thinks he could get away with pushing Hannibal with him due to the blood loss Hannibal is having through his stomach wound.

This was so perfect, that I cannot express it in words coherently. When I saw the title of the song I went "oh no... How am I going to survive this? HOW?"
The song choice and the way you showed their bond through the clips and the voiceovers created such an intimate atmosphere that, while I felt my heart break to a million pieces, I also felt like I was embraced by warmth. Yeah, I really think that the best thing about this video was how you managed to capture the culmination of intimacy you see there between them right before they both let themselves fall in the ocean (or sea?). And the fact that you put that quote about Will wanting to run away with Hannibal just as they were ready to fall is absolute perfection, because in my opinion that was exactly what that fall meant for them; that was them leaving the world behind to be together after the culmination of their passion in an act of united violence, which for Hannibal is the most important thing, more than carnal desire (pun not intended, for once).
I need to rewatch this another 100 times to taste every flavor of every second properly.

This video was gorgeous and heart breaking. I'm seriously rewatching Hannibal over and over again. Loved it!
I can't help but be upset that this fandom did not get the recognition, respect, and growth of viewership it deserved. This is what it's like to have a fantastic crew of writers, editors, producers, director, actors/actresses, and social media workers actually listen to the fans. And it was done so well without the plot or characters looking like it was forced to do. I've been into the whole fandom/slash world for years. It is terribly disappointing to finally come across a show, a show that is high quality beyond any other show that's been made, only to see it cancelled because of ratings and no viewers. These characters have so many layers to them. That's what hard work and dedication of the whole cast and crew of Hannibal looks like. I just don't understand how Supernatural and Teen Wolf have larger followers (but I admit i was an active and avid fan) than Hannibal. Their characters are incredibly shallow compared to everyone on Hannibal. This cast isn't superficial at all. Fans of other TV series beg and plead and complain and whine and fucking protest to the point where the actors don't even want to have Destiel or Sterek whispered at panels. So when an OTP actually becomes CANON it's just dismissed. Seriously what the hell.
Actually, Supernatural is an amazing show. The character development for the two main ones are beyond words. There is so much to this show, I love it so much.
Oh, I'm not saying spn isn't an amazing show and there is no character development at all. Even though I took a fandom hiatus, I'm still in love with spn. Trust me.
All I'm saying is that Hannibal and Will are portrayed in a far more complex and emotional way than Sam, Dean, Castiel etc. in my opinion. But if we're looking at the main fandom pairings, I still have way more respect for Brian Fuller and team who actually encourage and expand on the relationship between Hannibal and Will. It was canon. I can't help but remember my reaction as season three progressed. From Will asking Bedelia about Hannibal's love to their embrace on the cliff. I was like, "no... fucking... way. What just happened? He made it canon?" I'm sure you're very familiar with queerbaiting and all the drama that goes with it. I know that practically every show does it to some degree but the amount that spn has is absurd.
