I love your background in this video! I agree, they do smell like they are from the same world. I can't wait to smell Koala! I think I will order a sample as soon as I have figured out if I want a full bottle of Moth, Beaver or Chameleon next to throw in my order. Can't wait for your review on Koala 😅 I am so excited when a new Zoologist comes out.

Ahhh I loved the original formula but could not buy it on time 😞 before the re formulation 😞 I friend has this new Bat 🦇 si I knew it was different, instead I bought Night Flyer by Ellen Covey ( same perfumer of the original Bat 🦇) I am waiting for my bottle very impatiently 😆😆😆Thank you for your wonderful review as always ☺️!
Look at Olympic Orchids Artisan Perfumes 'Night Flyer'. This is the original Bat. When Zoologist discontinued it, the original version was released here.

While there most certainly is a melding of artist and interpretation that should be appreciated and respected, I personally cannot get my head around the notes as a collective.... We have all experienced many unique,interesting, beguiling, strange, smells to use the generic, but that, personally, does not mean I wish to find the aromas in a bottle or on my person. Thankfully fragrance is beautifully subjective. I will trust your interpretation of the perfumers vision and muse at it from afar with more curiosity if not just a little trepidation. Another wonderful review!!!

Spot on! I'm gonna have to wear my sample again to get to grips with it. Anyway, I'm not disappointed by the new bat, even though I prefer the older version. I'm so excited for Koala omg!
Same, not dissapointed but prefer the old version. this is an entirely new spin. Sloth however? wow I love it.

Great and fun as usual. Can’t wait for your koala review! I tried it, did not like it. My favorite so far is camel. Haven’t smelled Bat, though🤔
I have now done Koala. :) Camel is also in my top 3. I love it!
ouch110 Fragrance Reviews I saw that review, I have to admit I am getting to appreciate koala much better after testing it through the summer. Camel is still on top of my list, with panda 2017 a close second. Sloth is cool, but I still can’t understand whether I really like it or not so much...🧐

Big regret is that I did not buy a full bottle of the old Bat after loving my sample. Sadly I’m not crazy about the Pryn samples I’ve tried, so I am hesitant t try this new Bat.
Ohhhhh, which Pryn's have you tried? He also has Prissana which are super cool vintage kinda things. Pryn Parfums also is great. "Mandodari"? If you like vintage is like someone took ysl opium and added coffee and animalic notes. So cool. :)
I love this one, I really do. So much that I bought a bottle. And at almost $170 u know I gotta love it. I think it’s much better than the old Bat. Much more wearable. There are 6 I love. The rest are either ok or just awful and unwearable.

I did not get thr chance ti smell thr old formulation but from the sample i have and been on hand for 30 minutes or so depends on how long it last on me i think this will be my 3rd zooologist only smelled 4 atm
