I think it’s amazing you two did everything on your own timeline, and your commitment was already solidified from the other relationship milestones you have achieved. Marriage isn’t endgame for everyone, nor is there any right order in which to do things. Oh Alfie I totally understand how you feel about the age of 30. Let me just say you’ll have many more wonderful birthdays that cause you to reflect and so many more amazing adventures together with Zoe and your girls. I myself have just turned 60 and although I use to think that would be so old and that I have less years left then more ahead of me I am absolutely loving where I’m at. I’ve retired. Built a beautiful new home on a gorgeous property. I’ve been married 30 years to the love of my life and I’ve got 2 amazing adult sons. So enjoy your achievements and congratulations to you and Zoe on your engagement. Enjoy your thirties, they’re fabulous but so are the fifties and 60 is pretty damn great too!
