Wow I've never noticed the statues of Russell and Doug in front of the theater..how cute! Asia like the rest of the park is so full of little details. Fantastic vid 4K.

🐾Loving the in depth walk of Asia. Have to admit the gibbon habitat held my attention with their antics longer than I had wanted. You don't mean to, you just get sucked in -they are time suckers😉 Most people dash around & say this park🦒has not much to offer, but you stopped, and found all the great stuff there is. It can be improved upon & not neglected also. Thx 4 🗻💜
love getting the see the animals!! I’ll have to tell you a regret I have from my first visit to this park in 2009…but that will be for a later time…maybe when opportunity presents itself to be down there at the same time….

I always get annoyed when people say it's a half day park, etc. It's not full of rides, but you're also supposed to take your time and walk the trails, etc.
The Asia area is a lot more enjoyable than some give it credit for. The Jungle Trek with the tigers remains a personal favourite. And there are places you can relax and breathe away from the crowds. This is an awesome video 😊
Loving the focus on the details! It really gives credit to the Imagineers who embed so much context and back story that often goes unnoticed. Love these!

Yay! Friday lunch treat!! Virtual visit to my favorite park!! And this all looks so familiar! It was great getting to grab a coffee with you there in DAK Asia a few weeks ago…and to see you scoping out details to catch. So much to take in at this park!! Joe Rohde just included so much detail, subtle and not so subtle, in this park when determining the theming and decor. Whoops! caught something no so child friendly there in the audio…but unavoidable. I love animals! I have been fortunate and am grateful that I have been able to travel in my job to experience non-western cultures…and the opportunities in DAK to experience a taste of these cultures is wonderful! You captured this so beautifully, 4K!!
It was so nice to see you as well! Meeting up with you in this area made me want to film the land on its own. There really is an insane amount of details all around this land (and Africa as well) and that’s what I love the most about this park overall. Lol I didn’t even realize I caught some vulgar language! That happens every here and there 😂 Thank you as always Rick!! 😃
Asia in Disney's Animal Kingdom is gorgeous. There are so many intricate wood carvings, interesting architectural details and of course, the animals.
The family of Gibbons always brighten my day.
Maharaja Jungle Trek is my all time favorite. - especially the Tigers in their magnificent home.
It's also wonderful that many of the International College Program Castmembers are back.
Thanks for sharing this video of the most beautifully Themed area at Walt Disney World.

First. Wait is that a thing, Asia honestly is I think the best part of Animal Kingdom. Not taking anything away from avatar, but avatar is based on the movie. Asia has some of the best detail in any land at WDW, as seen by your video.
Both Asia and Africa have such great theming and decor!! (but then, I am partial…having had the privilege to travel to Africa for work)
