Absolutely. There’s simply no contest. As far as storage. I checked my glove box the other day and I found an old tissue an old pair of sunglasses and a couple of speeding tickets. So storage ,! Not a problem just carry less junk! This car is what it is and doesn’t try to be anything else.
Good review up until the talk about the boot space. It’s a (roadster). Which is a 2 seater light weight convertible. I get 5 shopping bags or 2 dive tanks and 2 sets of dive gear in the boot. I’ve even had a 25hp outboard motor in the passenger seat. To compare it to the brz …… there different cars can’t take the roof off the brz and it’s not a roadster. This car is what it is and doesn’t try or care to be anything else. It doesn’t even really have a competitor in the same price range.
Couple items, the infotainment screen can be made to be touch, you can change that it the infotainment settings, secondly the screen you show at 6:37 is the 2023 screen which is 2” smaller than the 2024. The 8.8 inch screen is actually very nice
Its a great daily driver, you can totally live with that amount of space and if you need to carry more than 2 people plus a TV that's what friends are for. Or a second car. Also, the entry price 29k is cheaper than the original 1990 after inflation 32k but the RF being so much more expensive definitely hurts because its so damn cool.
@@badboy-gn8fu that’s cool for you but why in your opinion can’t I drive mine daily. I get 2 dive tanks and all dive equipment in the boot and I’ve even had a 25hp outboard motor in the passenger seat. 💁♂️
Good. Keep it special, versus making it "fit" what everyone else wants. Mazda makes like 5-7k of these per year, and to order is like 4-6 months already. I can't imagine they'd be available at all if they were made to be more likeable by a broader base. Folks that buy them want a Miata for what it is. If you want something else, go buy an SUV or spend $75k on something else.
Looks like nothing has changed in eight years. I think they should update the rear end and ditch the round tail lights. It doesn't need a big stick handbrake, since they did away with that in all the other mazdas. And why not offer it with thier 2.5 liter? The Mazda3 2.5l Turbo seems to be the better choice.
You don’t change a formula that works. Making this car heavier would ruin it. Besides a Mazda 3 isn’t nearly as fun and good looking as the MX-5!! Take another look, you can’t compare the MX-5 to anything in the price range on the market.
not a fan of fun wheel drive? needs to go fast in a straight line? should look more like every other car? don't want ebrake driftability? it might not be the car for you fair bits of power can easily be gained by overhauling the exhaust and intake but there probably isn't the popularity and therefore R&D budget for it to happen in a factory model and their budget is probably going into the next gen having to be a hybrid
🏆Is the Mazda Miata the most affordable car for its quality?🤔

Pros: It's great and does everything a person looking for the most affordable roadster wants
Cons: It's not an SUV
Well said

All Id need to fit is a helmet and some magnets (maybe a small tool kit).
It's a 2023 not a 2024!!!!

The cheapest sport car happened to be about 180K in Singapore
Spot on. Lack of storage was the primary reason that I scratched it from my list. Too bad.
this is a pure sports car, if you want storage for your crap go buy an SUV
