I was thinking about how when I started watching your videos I was so deep into studying for my final exams (that I was retaking because I didn't get into any medical school) and now, fast forward a few months, I got into my dream med school here in Portugal and I'm still procrastinating by watching your videos instead of studying lol
IM SO HAPPY I THOUGHT YOU GAVE UP VLOGGING :) could you explain why you chose Clare college and what colleges you’d recommend for medicine - heard Corpus Christi was in a good location. Thanks for the amazing content btw
FocusBlasted Corpus is very small so you might only have 1 or 2 other medics at your college so that might not be fun. The rooms also aren’t great for the price, as some shared kitchens don’t even have a hob, just an oven. Its very old so doesn’t really have the stuff other colleges would have, but it is still a nice atmosphere.
Libby Davis oh wow thanks, i never really researched it just heard of it being in the centre. Thanks for the reality check :) I’ll have to go to the open day to really find the right college for when i apply. Thank you again
Hey, thanks for watching the vlogs hehe!! I chose Clare because the stats for getting into medicine werent too bad, and it's really pretty and known for its friendly atmosphere! I'd say definitely shortlist colleges based on the "facts" and then go to open days to see where you feel most comfortable

I was always told never to put too much thought into picking a college but realised if i’m spending 3 years of my life somewhere i’d like it to be nice lol. Cambridge is so bugged up by people. Wherever you end up going to school, whether it’s Cambridge for a biomed degree or Keele university (my school) your getting the same degree at the end of it so why does it matter. I could not live somewhere like that to be honest. Sure Cambridge is a school with a good rep but you get the same degree no matter where you go.
Jedna z bolączek dzisiejszego angielskiego jest wstawianie słowa "like" pomiędzy niemal każde zdanie, a nie wnosi to nic do tematu wypowiedzi. Masz piękny akcent i mówisz z lekkością. Niepotrzebne Ci są te oszpecające język dodatki kochana. Wiem że trudno się temu oprzeć gdy wszyscy to robią ale co zaszkodzi spróbować 🙂
