You know, Sobit is right. If you just start singing all the time and do it every day, over time your voice will get better. I wish I had done that when I was young.
If you go back 2 years ago when Sobit first stared posting, his voice was just OK. I was enjoying the silly and fun interactions with his audience more. But after a year I noticed a big change in the quality of his voice and a hint of vibrato starting. Now another year later there has been another jump in quality.. The soft vibrato is clearly there in every song now. The genius of Sobit is that he keeps the guitar playing simple and accurate, his guitar is always in tune (very important!) so most of the magic comes from his unadulterated singing. The combination of his singing and pure guitar completes the magic.
When I listen to pop singers like Arijit for example, the music almost drowns out his singing which is more typical of singers these days. They add things like echo, auto-tune and sophisticated production techniques to blend everything into a song soup. Justin Bieber uses auto tune way too much. The magic of Sobit is simplicity and accuracy. No hiding behind electronics and an orchestra of background sound. IMO.
