Yes and no. He's Just someone who sees things for what they are which all philosophers did. Everyone who contemplates these things is a philosopher. He just doesn't go to the lengths that recognized philosophers did in explaining the thought processes that create and sustain the issues he talks about.

This was Mr. Carlin's final special, a year before his passing. There is a huge well of great comedy that he left before this final one, and it also happens to be very logical intelligent thought presented before you. Comedic preaching in the best way imaginable. He's generally regarded as one of the best comedians in the stand-up profession. He and Richard Pryor, two of the greats of their time and still to this day, were strong admirers of one another.

I used to listen to george carlins entire library in my sleep in my teens - i just found your guys channel and you guys are really tapping into some of the best art of our time. I had tickets to see carlin in june 2008 in Atlantic City. ... I believe he died in April or May.
George Carlin was a genius. He's a modern day philosopher with a good sense of humor and as time goes on his material gets more and more relevant. He'd have a field day with today's politics.
Carlin was and is a legend. He was incredibly smart with his comedy. May he rest in peace.

I listened to George's wisdom from the 70's right up to the present day. True since he passed, I have to go back and revisit that wisdom, but the thing is, his wisdom is timeless. It holds just as much meaning today as it ever did....sometimes even more so. But that's just my opinion...please don't shoot...PEACE!!!!!

Carlin is a like genius philosopher who did homework, assignments on how to do comedy, know all the tricks of all the people who done comedy before him, topped the comedy graduation but deep down is a philosopher. George Carlin, The comedian, the Philosopher, and the PROPHET. The goat and the legend. I got to see him with my mom back in the day in the 90's because she was a huge fan. I was like 13ish at the time. My mom always put me on to what's good.

I would to see you do a reaction video on Lisa Lampanelli. One of her older stand up acts when she was heavier & was dating a black guy. She was on several comedy roasts. She goes after every walk of life. People need to learn to laugh at themselves. I’ve introduced her humor to my very diverse group of friends. They are shocked but are cracking up. Please! Please!
